I broke my hip.
I'm walking again. Not just walking, but walking miles...the way I was able to, prior.
I've seen hip fractures destroy the lives of people my age, and take the lives of people a little older.
So I lost some of my pastimes...bicycling and motorcycle touring. Eventually, I knew those would go bye-bye...just didn't know how.
So...I got off lightly.
I think it began when teachers started asking kids "How does that make you feel?" instead of asking "What do you think about that?"It just makes me throw my hands up in frustration. So MANY people, especially young people, are inculcated AGAINST facts, logic, economic understandings.
