“I Did Not Commit a Crime”—Gaslighting Cop Arrests Black Driver Who Honked at Him for Not Moving at Green Light

Last year, a Black man was violently detained by a vengeful upstate New York police officer for honking his horn at him when the officer refused to move when the light changed to green. The individual was accused of resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration, and unlawfully using a horn by Troy police officer Taylor Gamache. These retaliatory charges were ultimately dropped.

Depends on whether you believe the driver and the MSN - Mockingbird State Network.

I don't believe either. My EXPERIENCE - not prejudice, but judgment based on what I've seen - is to NOT believe the butchered English coming out of a bwak mouth, until I can start verifying some or all of it.

Sorry. You look and act a certain way, and most of those who look and act the same are reflexive liars...you're going to be considered a probable liar, too.

Cops are often corrupt, now, and especially in Gnu Yark; but they're not as likely to be liars as the Valedictorian Class.

So if I just drive away from a DUI, will I get to retire too? I'm gonna guess no. Make luau's great again.

I wonder if I'd be allowed to just drive off if I behaved like this on a traffic stop. Rules for thee but not for me.

That's at the heart of the problem - lack of consequences. Punishment is far from certain - it's a crapshoot; and it seems, in most Woked-up states, the odds are in favor of the perp.

Since the Malibu burn-down, I've paid attention to cop arrest vids, and body-cams; and some UNBELIEVABLE behaviors - resisting, refusing to roll down windows, or to produce licenses, or producing fake licenses; violent tantrums in public places of business...often result in no-bail releases, and often with repeat behavior in days or weeks.

SWIFT, CERTAIN PUNISHMENT is the way to stop this. People won't act up on traffic stops or official investigations if they know they'll wind up with a few months in the county jail for it.
