ICE's cash crisis deepens amid immigration crackdown

President Trump's immigration crackdown is burning through cash so quickly that the agency charged with arresting, detaining and removing unauthorized immigrants could run out of money next month.

Why it matters: Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is already $1 billion over budget by one estimate, with more than three months left in the fiscal year. That's alarmed lawmakers in both parties — and raised the possibility of Trump clawing funds from agencies to feed ICE.

BREAKING: Mike Lindell Vindicated in Defamation Trial & MyPillow Pays $0.00 – FULLY EXONERATED

In a major free speech victory, Mike Lindell refused to settle and took the case to trial. The result:
- No malice
- No punitive damages
- No conspiracy
- MyPillow completely cleared of liability

While media corporations paid hundreds of millions to avoid trial, Lindell stood firm and won.

Eric Coomer sought over $60 million. The jury awarded him less than 5%—and nothing from MyPillow.

@realMikeLindell
was in court for over two weeks, defending his right to speak freely on issues millions of Americans care about. The jury found no evidence of malice, no grounds for punitive damages, and zero conspiracy.

This case wasn’t just about Lindell. It was about whether Americans still have the right to question what they believe needs scrutiny. The jury answered: yes.

Free Speech Won. Intimidation Lawfare Lost.

‘Time to get serious on defense’: A moment of truth for NATO as leaders seek unity on spending hike

  • NATO will show on Wednesday whether it can unite on a defense spending hike.
  • Allies have been wrangling over a joint statement that will be released at the end of the summit on.
  • The coalition’s members have been pressured to commit to spending 5% of GDP on defense. Some have pushed back.
It’ll be a moment of truth for NATO on Wednesday when the Western military alliance releases a joint statement on a heavily pushed and previewed collective defense spending hike.

Allies have been corralled, cajoled and pressured to hike their defense expenditure from 2% to 5% of each member nation’s gross domestic product by 2035, even as some have struggled to meet the lower target.

It’s widely expected that the bloc’s 32 member states will green light the hike on Wednesday — NATO ambassadors have already agreed in principle — but action, and the deadline, could still slip.

A lot of people have asked me if I will get involved in the NYC mayor race by supporting a candidate that can defeat Zohran Mamdani. TBH, I’m torn and undecided. Like every other city run by democrats, NYC is a broken kleptocracy. Taxes are astronomical and services are pathetic to nonexistent. Anarchy and socialism are the next logical steps in this story arc. It's what the people of NYC have been asking for for years and it looks like it's what they are about to get. Trying to fight against this tide seems like throwing good money after bad.

It appears things will have to get worse in NYC before they get better. The Zoomers and Millennials need a refresher on the outcome of Marxism and socialism. They are too young to remember the crack and crime epidemic and murder sprees of the late 80's and early 90's. The squeegee men, graffiti, mugging, lawlessness, chaos, and pandemonium. Streets that were too unsafe to walk alone at night or even during the day. Getting mugged on the way to and from school was not just a rite of passage, it was an inevitability.

The Wall Streeters, financiers, and hedge funders have been too busy working on their fishponds and climbing the rungs of polite society to remember to protect the system that allowed them to achieve their success in the first place and allowed New York City to once become the greatest city in the world. Not ruffling feathers was more important than questioning the ideological insanity being taught in the private schools and universities that they sent their kids to. All that mattered was fitting in and getting invited to the right dinner parties.

Now their kids are indoctrinated NPCs, always protesting and supporting the current thing. Like their parents, they too want to fit in. To do so, they unironically exchange bromides and platitudes on the benefits of socialism over rosé brunches in the West Village. Because their friends hate America and capitalism, they do too. It never dawns on them that their lifestyle and studio apartment that their parents subsidize are all made possible because of capitalism.

This delusional thinking was ingrained in them at an early age by institutions that were captured by insane ideology and left unchecked by their grossly negligent parents. Instead of providing their children with immunity from stupid and provably bad ideas that have only led to misery and death throughout history, these parents shrugged it off as kids will be kids.

Now these kids are adults who can vote, but are totally unequipped to do so. In many ways it’s not their fault. From their parents, they learned some combination of magical thinking, preference falsification, and an inability to stand up for anything greater than themselves. As a result, they never learned how to think critically or independently. They never learned the value of Western civilization so they don't understand why, or know how, to fight for it.

Sometimes the only way to learn something is to learn it the hard way. Sometimes the only way to learn the value of what you have is to lose it. If that’s the case, Marxism and socialism might just be what the doctor ordered.

I think it was a fucking good time to speak truth. Israel and Iran... Is there anyone here that thinks these two groups would do anything towards peace unless and until an adult walked into the room and told them that they really, really don't know what the fuck they were doing -- and he was going to flat out fucking stop it.

And shame on Trump for using English the word that fits the situation. That earth-ending word is FAR more important to CNN/NYT and Dems than a conflagration that would surely -- certainly -- absolutely lead to atomic war. Go figger.

How fucking DARE Trump to use a word every reader of this sentence has used when he described a bunch of stupid assholes?! That is SO important that we no longer can even think about what is going on over there.

Just look at CNN/NYT or liberals to understand and see what they consider to be of the greatest worldwide importance for the last few days.

A simple twist of fate...?

This is from the D side... total BS as everyone knows Trump won fair and square. They're grasping at straws to explain it. What they can't explain is how Trump's rallies were in the tens of thousands while Kamla's couldn't fill a high school gym, yet supposedly she won? LOL

She Won. They Didn't Just Change the Machines. They Rewired the Election.

How Leonard Leo's 2021 sale of an electronics firm enabled tech giants to subvert the 2024 election.

The Dark Enlightenment Coup

The missing votes uncovered in Smart Elections’ legal case in Rockland County, New York, are just the tip of the iceberg—an iceberg that extends across the swing states and into Texas.

On Monday, an investigator’s story finally hit the news cycle: Pro V&V, one of only two federally accredited testing labs, approved sweeping last-minute updates to ES&S voting machines in the months leading up to the 2024 election—without independent testing, public disclosure, or full certification review.
These changes were labeled “de minimis”—a term meant for trivial tweaks. But they touched ballot scanners, altered reporting software, and modified audit files—yet were all rubber-stamped with no oversight.

That revelation is a shock to the public.
But for those who’ve been digging into the bizarre election data since November, this isn’t the headline—it’s the final piece to the puzzle. While Pro V&V was quietly updating equipment in plain sight, a parallel operation was unfolding behind the curtain—between tech giants and Donald Trump.

And it started with a long forgotten sale.

the rule of law prevails!

Hello Senator Schiff,

Oh, really? I have a very different interpretation of these "chilling words." Let's break down Sotomayor's words sentence by sentence.

"The rule of law is not a given in this Nation, nor any other."
→ Translation: People can't be trusted to uphold the system on their own, so unelected elites have to step in and control it for them.

"It is a precept of our democracy that will endure only if those brave enough in every branch fight for its survival."
→ Translation: Our version of democracy only survives if unelected bureaucrats and judges are willing to override democratic outcomes in the name of preserving the system.

"Today, the Court abdicates its vital role in that effort."
→ Translation: The Court didn’t rubber-stamp our preferred policy mechanism of unilateral nationwide injunctions, and that's unacceptable because we expect the judiciary to act as our firewall against the will of the electorate.

"With the stroke of a pen, the President has made a 'solemn mockery' of our Constitution..."
→ Translation: We don’t like what the elected executive did, so we're invoking moral hyperbole to frame it as illegitimate... not because it's unconstitutional, but because it violates our ideological expectations.

"Rather than stand firm, the Court gives way."
→ Translation: The Court didn't act as a political veto for the Swamp, and that's cowardice.

"Because such complicity should know no place in our system of law, I dissent."
→ Translation: Any refusal to resist the current administration is complicity with authoritarianism, and I'm going to signal my moral superiority for the record.
