We have forgotten in our current discourse what every American older than a certain age knows in their bones, which is that, as cities go, D.C. is a cesspit. There is a long history of political corruption from Mayor Marion Barry hanging out in crack dens, to 2012 with the incidents of Kwame Brown and Harry Thomas on city council, and then the various scams and ghost-payrolling schemes perpetrated by city officials.

Sounds like a plant. Why would anyone in Wyoming be interested in promoting Globalist Chinese industry-killing imports? And anyone with half a brain, knows that tariffs JUST PUT IN, aren't responsible for price-increases of 10 - 50 percent of basic staples over the last YEAR.

People who live in Wyoming aren't generally on welfare and aren't in government or NGO-nonprofit jobs. People who work, have a good idea what inflation is and how it happens.

DC is the model for future cities.

It features an exalted Elite Class, Masters of the Universe...who have homes far away and often commute great distances, from Virginia suburban districts, to get in. But that's okay - THEIR carbon can be overlooked, because they're **CHANGING THE WORLD**.

In the city are the peons who perform menial tasks for the Masterminds. Who are mostly paid reasonably well - they have to be to live in a city built on a swamp. Surrounding THEM are their kind, only not employed and often unemployable.

Letting stupid people practicing self-government, tends not to work well. Marion Berry was a perfect illustration of that precept.

But there is no real Middle Class, there. There is the New Royalty, the lords and ministers of government; there is the Magic Money pumped out by the State, and there is the peasantry. There is a government class of lower-ranking functionaries, but it has few of the traits of a true Middle Class - not industry and not autonomy.

The "citizens" of DC are what the Elites hope to REPLACE the American (and Western European) Middle Class WITH. Low-wattage easily-manipulated de-facto chattel.

She prefaced her explanation by laying out the Russiagate conspiracy and provided the public with a quick refresher of Obama’s role in directing the “seditious conspiracy.”

She explained, “ultimately the real crime here was against the American people… to speak of the fact that some of those 37 individuals that we directed the revocation of security clearances from today, under the direction of President Trump, they aided and abetted in this action, this seditious conspiracy…”

Sounds like not only the big time players in the conspiracy are at risk, but everyone who was involved could be held accountable.

Volkswagen's been a dead name for a long time, for those who pay attention.

They have not cared to offer lasting value to consumers, for a long time. It was over ten years ago that a higher-up official MOCKED the idea that VW should support existing product - declaring that it was the customer's "duty" to replace old cars with new models, once the old ones were paid off.

Now, even before the Woke Crisis and Dieselgate, VWs have had issues for proprietary electrical-component failure, without parts support, and general leaky seals in mechanical components - expensive to repair. The days of being able to remove a VW engine with a ratchet wrench, a box wrench, and a simple floor jack (the Type-1 Beetle) are long gone.

It all goes back to 1972 or so. VW was prosperous but its leadership was in chaos, after the death of Heinz Nordhoff; they had no real product-planning going on. A small German company, NSU, was in trouble - they made motorcycles and economy cars, innovative but not sturdy. NSU was the company that Felix Wankel worked for; NSU owned the Wankel patents.

The West German government was far more involved in domestic industry than is permitted in the USA. It was almost the Japanese model - they ordered, ORDERED, Volkswagenwerk to absorb NSU, and issue new stock to NSU shareholders.

As with Chrysler 25 years later - purchasing American Motors, and then having American Motors product-planning and upper management take over the company - NSU influences began steering VW. The Golf/Rabbit was intended as a new NSU model. The Passant/Dasher model was hastily cobbled together from some VW and Audi parts, primarily the Beetle transaxle, to comply with the new focus on FWD cars. (Auto Union had already been purchased by VW.) Porsche family influence of Volkswagenwerk remained, but product-planning was shifted into the direction that NSU management favored.

NSU had never focused on durability. Their offerings were like a German version of Renault - sleek looking, and fragile as tinfoil. NSU failed in the market, and even with the VW name, the combined company has never had the dominance that the original Volkswagenwerk had in the 1960s.

They made money, but little else of any lasting value.

Now they're taking it a step further, and as we loom into a global recession. I expect they are gonna be another casualty of the combined toxins Woke, money-printing, Globalist contempt for the ultimate consumer.

Nice Narrative timeline...but it doesn't mesh with facts.

Trump doesn't understand banking. He wants more ZIRP - and if he can get an MMT Negative-Interest princess installed as Fed Head Printer, he will.

Intentions don't count. I don't think Trump is consciously onboard with the Globalists, rich on all the Helicopter Money that trickled up to them; but currency-debasement by seniorage, only has one outcome. Essentially the outcome we have - the (connected) Rich getting richer.

Trump needs an Austrian advisor, and there are none. Nor is he likely to listen to them. And given the time that seniorage trickle-up takes....we're seeing Covid Helicopter Money enriching Bezos and Gates, just now....given that, it's not likely Trump will even learn from his own mistakes.

If he dissolves the FED, which seems likely and issues public debt there is no interest payment at all.

Federal income taxes should fade away as a result. That will allow more money to be in the system. Won't have to borrow and pay interest on private debt instruments. US Notes have no interest payment. Private FRNs do.

I don't see it happening. Funding the bloated Fuddrel Goobermint with a sales tax would be problematic.

Funding it with, essentially, a sales tax ONLY ON IMPORTED GOODS would be impossible. Not with our current long-list of redistribution schemes.

First, of course, the heavy duties necessary to pay the budget, would basically stop those imports. Prices cannot just be jacked up - buyers disappear.

Second, without a FRB to buy Treasury scrip, launder it, and leak the new money into the Stawk Market, there would only be one solution to meeting the deficit. Direct money-printing.

Yes, a drastic cutting of the Fuddrel budget would solve that. Right now you see Trump clamoring for ZIRP. Why? SO THEY CAN BORROW MOAR.

That's not fiscal restraint. That's a desire to continue the insane stealth money-printing that's gone on for 20 years.

Abolishing the Fed is a good idea; but only if out of that, the currency is returned to a non-mutable anchor. Precious-metals.
