The Russian crisis is hurting the rouble, but they're dumping dollars now to buy gold. Very interesting developments:

What will happen in 2015?

Will the Russians take revenge on what the West is doing to them?

Quite possible...

For now, they're selling dollars, buying gold, but what I think is: they're selling dollars exactly to buy gold!

Isn't that what stackers are doing too?

Well if they are able to manipulate the prices of PM's as well as many think, and they want to keep Putin in a hurt bag, then they will try to keep it from going too high, as best they can. Of course if/when the curtain gets pulled back and the whole thing comes crashing down, it won't much matter anyway IMO.
