Scientist behind Trump’s Tylenol claims was paid $150K to give evidence against drug maker

President Trump’s claim that pregnant women can give babies autism by using Tylenol is partly based on a study by a scientist who was previously paid $150,000 to give expert evidence in a claim against the drug’s manufacturers.

Last month Dr Andrea Baccarelli, a senior public health academic at Harvard University, co-authored a review that linked acetaminophen — the active ingredient used in Tylenol — to autism and warned that pregnant women should “limit” their consumption of the drug.

That makes no sense. Who profit$ from taking a whole class of medicines OFF the market?

It costs everybody. Probably why it was never discussed until now.

Methinks this is raw-naked Psychological Projection. Put out there by our dumber-than-dirt Leftist meⒹia.

If one thing saves us, it is that our pot-saturated, Jabbed mediuh cretins are so STOO-PIDD...it's easy to parse their lies.

Why Trump is obsessed with autism

When US president Donald Trump claimed on Monday that pregnant women should “fight like hell” not to take paracetamol – citing disputed links between the drug and autism – his longstanding obsession with the matter reached its critical peak.

“I always had very strong feelings about autism,” he said, making clear how personally he takes the issue. “I’ve stopped seven different wars. I’ve saved millions of lives. I’ve done a lot of things. This will be as important as any single thing I’ve done.”

It is far from the first time Trump’s interest in autism has sparked controversy. As early as December 2007, when he hosted leaders of the advocacy group Autism Speaks (founded by former NBC chairman, Bob Wright) at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Florida, he was theorising that neurodiversity could be caused by vaccines.

I was gonna say, my first thought upon hearing the Tylenol->autism allegation was that big pharma wanted to take the heat off of the vaccine industry and Tylenol was being set up to be the patsy. I have not delved into the story, so I don't know what facts/details have been disclosed.
