‘Treehouse Antifa’ calls for ‘Night of Rage’ against cops after shooting leaves militant dead, officer injured

January 19, 2023 | Terresa Monroe-Hamilton

Radical Antifa-affiliated leftists are calling for a violent “Night of Rage” on Jan. 20 after police shot and killed a militant near “Cop City” on Wednesday where “Treehouse Antifa” is occupying land that is earmarked for an Atlanta Police Department Training Facility.

The unidentified officer was wounded in the incident but is in stable condition, according to police.

A “Night of Rage” is being called for by the Twitter account “Scenes from the Atlanta Forest.” It is set to take place on Friday to enact “reciprocal violence to be done to the police and their allies.” The members have been dubbed “Treehouse Antifa.”

“Consider this a call for reciprocal violence to be done to the police and their allies. On Friday, January 20th, wherever you are, you are invited to participate in a night of rage in order to honor the memory of our fallen comrade,” the group incited on Twitter.

The radical account is asserting that it is part of “Defend the Atlanta Forest,” which is one of a number of groups that are protesting the $90 million police and firefighter training center that will be built in that area.

Why is Merrick Garland not having the home of whoever wrote that raided and arrested for inciting violence?

Oh, that's right, antifa are the democratic parties brown shirts, and are thus to be protected by him.

and crossing state lines to commit/incite violence...?

and crossing state lines to commit/incite violence...?
We've been told how horrible it is to do that, but that obviously does not apply when it's people working to support democrats.

Has the splc released a statement on the fact that one of their lawyers was caught and charged with committing terrorist acts?

Has the splc released a statement on the fact that one of their lawyers was caught and charged with committing terrorist acts?

Yes they have actually:
March 07, 2023

ATLANTA — Today, an employee at the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), who was arrested while volunteering as a legal observer on behalf of the National Lawyers Guild (NLG), was released on bail. SPLC President and CEO Margaret Huang issued the following statement in response to the employee’s release:

“We are pleased that the DeKalb County assistant district attorney (ADA) agreed to a consent bond for Tom Jurgens. As we previously stated, Tom was performing a public service, documenting potential violations of protesters’ rights. We are outraged that police officers present at the protest refused to acknowledge Tom’s role as a legal observer and instead chose to arrest him. We are confident that the evidence will demonstrate he was a peaceful legal observer.

“The SPLC will continue to defend the civil and human rights of all people. We will continue to reject violence wherever and whenever it occurs. We urge law enforcement officials in Atlanta to de-escalate violence and avoid excessive use of force against protesters.

“The SPLC is known and respected for tracking and exposing far-right extremism and hate. Extremists will exploit any opportunity to criticize us because we are committed to exposing their hateful ideology. We will continue to expose and take on the most extreme, racist actors in our country and to defend the rights of all people — including protesters — to express themselves peacefully. Challenging far-right extremists is critical to our charge to dismantle white supremacy, strengthen intersectional movements and advance the human rights of all people.”

Notice that they aren't committed to tracking and exposing far-left extremism and hate. Which, in my opinion, is far more prevalent in society these days.

@pmbug , they are SO full of crap. They say: "We will continue to expose and take on the most extreme, racist actors in our country and to defend the rights of all people — including protesters — to express themselves peacefully."

In no way were those "protestors" being peaceful. The videos of their actions prove it. Afaic, the splc itself is a terrorist organization. They're obviously working against the nations Founding principles.

Aren't antifa insurrectionists? Or perhaps the demoncrat "leaders" are pushing for a fight with American Constitutionalists and hoping for an outbreak of North and South style violence?
