Exclusive: FBI obtained Kash Patel and Susie Wiles phone records during Biden administration​

Re the reporting that the FBI recorded a call between Wiles and her attorney.

Reporting now is that Wiles' attorney denies he ever consented to a recorded call with her at the request of the FBI, and Wiles believes him.

Patel said yesterday the records were found in a "Prohibited" FBI file that is invisible to anyone without special access.

If that is true, I think we are well into the territory where it is appropriate to question whether this was not a "consensually monitored call" but was instead and illegal wiretap of Wiles or her attorney, and it was hidden behind false FBI paperwork claiming the attorney was cooperating.

That would explain why it was put behind at "Prohibited" access firewall in the FBI file system.

The NYT is reporting this involved the Smith SCO looking to see if Trump connected PACs were paying attorney's fees in order to prevent people in Trump-World from cooperating with Smith.

The timing is suspicious. Smith was appointed in Nov. 2022, and this call is reported to have taken place in Feb. 2023. Smith stepped in and took over an ongoing DOJ investigation, and he might have wondered very early why more people weren't cooperating.

He's so slimy and ethically challenged that I could see him going down this road.

I think there is much here still to be learned.

Maybe Trump read the saying as, "The enemy of my friend's enemy is my enemy's friend's enemy's friend" and just got really confused.
 
I could see it.

Trump is no longer the You're-Fired boss. He's now Grandpa...he had his quirks, his dyed hair and foul mouth, but he was pretty sharp.

Until recently.

If he were living a normal life, now, there'd be talk, behind his back, of retiring him and maybe arranging a Legal Guardianship.

Something I just learned about Trump.

I posted in moar detail on the other forum; but I'll put the links here as well.

This is news to me. Orange Man's mentor, when he was scarcely more than Orange Boy...was Joe McCarthy's legal counsel.

This mentor was ALSO the guy who singlehandedly destroyed The Lionel Corporation - the model-railroad company. That's not on the links below...this is something I only learned (separate from Trump connections) a few months back.

That's right - Roy Cohn, the guy who died of Sodomites' Justice in 1986...McCarthy's legal front...who was also a mob money-launderer...was related to Joshua Lionel Cowen, the model-train king. Cohn took it over as his great-uncle Joshua was succumbing to health issues - and Financialized the company, running it into the ground.

It wasn't his smoothest move - he lost (IIRC) about 80 percent of the pre-Financialized value. What was left was sold to General Mills, who wanted to run the company as a toy novelty supplier. That's how they did for about eight years.

But this guy, this mobbed-up shyster, was Trump's legal instructor.
