I have come to believe with certainty that Trump is well-versed in Douglas Adams' description of a president. As with most things Trump, best not to get too excited about headlines - the devil is always in the details.![]()
42?I have come to believe with certainty that Trump is well-versed in Douglas Adams' description of a president.
No, that is the answer to life, the universe, and everything.
The President is very much a figurehead - he wields no real power whatsoever. He is apparently chosen by the government, but the qualities he is required to display are not those of leadership but those of finely judged outrage. For this reason the President is always a controversial choice, always an infuriating but fascinating character. His job is not to wield power but to draw attention away from it.
I read 15% across the board by both countries which, Trump contends, basically 0 each other out. So is Trump just intentionally deceptive or an actual idiot?
What this really is is a 15% tax on 700 million people.
I have to order my annual supply of coffee this month. 20 lbs a year is what I go through in green beans. Last year it was 120 bucks, this year almost 160. Almost 30% but hey there's no inflation.

They don't charge us, they are charging their people for buying American. The consumer says the tax/tariff.The tariffs are for revenue. The Eau also has a VAT. Uf 5ariffs are not good why do all others countries charge one to the US?
Rat they have charged 20%, or more, on about everything they import from America and they call it a VAT. What they export to us has no VAT, so we are basically hold the bag on our exports. They find all kinda cute ways to explain these policys but in the end its protectionism pure and simple. So that Ford auto that retails for $30 K ends up costing $36 K with their cute little VAT they use for protectionism of their own Industrys. They don't charge us, they are charging their people for buying American. The consumer says the tax/tariff.
Trump is stealing from ME, ...
