Cuba doesn't have anything the US wants. Cigars, coffee, rum and some nickel I think.

I remember when Venezuela was trying to get it's gold back from London I think. Did they ever get it back?

This whole Maduro thing has got to be a joke. On trial for machine guns? Against US law? WTF is that. That would be a whole new precedent.

On the other hand I guess we can avoid wars in the future. Just declare every leader a criminal and whoever captures them gets the country too. Should be a fun game.

Seems the real game was the Almighty $$$

The Venezuelans were in the process of signing up the sale of their oil to the Chinese in Yuan, using the Chinese CIPS system. There by cutting out the $$$

The USA won't have the Chinses grabbing an advantage of cheap oil paid in Yuan. Yuan that Venezuela will then spend on Chinese products, not USA products in USA $$$

The side benefit is all the cheap oil & access to mineral rich Venezuela.

I think actual " Pirates " had more ethic's & morals than the Trump Gov :devilish:

😞

Trump has turned up the insanity amp to 11.

It's as though he's trying to cause as much chaos as he can before he dies...

Orange Man Bad and TDS is alive and well on Pmbug.
TDS can work both ways. You can say he can do no wrong because you voted for him or you can be as critical of him as you would any other human being also because you voted for him. I'm in the latter camp.

Be honest. If Biden had done the same exact move would everyone be on here saying what a great job he did?

Either T has some real good dirt on this guy or he's stone insane.

Wouldn't surprise me one bit if he ain't in the Epstein Files doing some really sick shit.

Graham? Graham worships at the altar of war. He is the #1 swamp critter for the MIC. Trump, Israel, Neocons - it doesn't matter who is banging the drum. If you are banging the drum for war, Graham is supporting you.

Report to Congress on U.S. Capture of Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro

The following is the Jan. 6, 2026, Congressional Research Service insight report, U.S. Capture of Venezuela’s Nicolás Maduro: Considerations for Congress.

From the Report

On January 3, 2026, President Trump announced that the U.S. military had launched strikes across Venezuela that culminated in the capture and arrest of President Nicolás Maduro (2013-2026) and his wife Cilia Flores in an operation that resulted in few U.S. casualties. Maduro and Flores were transferred to New York to face narco-terrorism, drug trafficking, and weapons charges. Maduro’s ouster came after months of U.S. lethal strikes on vessels allegedly transporting drugs for U.S.-designated foreign terrorist organizations (FTOs) tied to Maduro, seizures of vessels transporting sanctioned Venezuelan oil, and a drone strike that destroyed a port facility. President Trump said that the United States will “run” Venezuela until a transition takes place and that U.S. companies will pay to rebuild the country’s oil infrastructure. He asserted that Maduro’s vice president and oil minister Delcy Rodríguez, who is under U.S. sanctions for corruption, appears willing “to do what we think is necessary” as acting president. If not, he warned, she could “pay a very big price.”

One of the boats we blew up has been washing ashore in Colombia. Small amount of weed is all that they found so far. No cocaine.

The evidence always seems to be missing from all of these illegal attacks on foreign nations. No evidence in Iran and same with the latest in Venezuela.

Masterclass? The deal went something like this. Do you like living? How about your family, do they like living? Ok here's the oil deal we have for you and with all that money you will buy American products at 2 or 3 times the cost of Chinese made stuff. You k with that? Great then we have a deal.. Oh and 1 more thing, any excess money will also be invested in US treasuries. That ok with you?

I also heard 100-150 billion needed just to get back to the 3million barrels a day they were producing long ago. Also looking at about 10 years out to get up to speed. If taxpayers are going to fund it then I guess that's a better investment than Somali daycares.

Is blown-up cocaine soluble in water? LOL.
Is blown-up weed soluble in water? Lol

Is it worth replying?

Weed was still in baggie so I guess it survived. Is there any evidence at all of any cocaine on the boat before we blew it up? Are there any names of the people that were killed and were they in fact tied to the drug cartel? The only cartel I am aware of down there is the lettuce one. Arugula or something.

I know many just buy the party line without question. Critical thinking skills are required though.
Like how did all of our intelligence agencies say that there was no evidence that Iran was working on a nuke but somehow Trump decided that they were to justify his actions. When confronted by this he just said our intelligence agencies were wrong.

Now we just blow up boats on theater and call them terrorists drug dealers. Not just drug dealers, they have to be terrorists to justify his actions and not give them due process I guess. So which terrorists were they? I'm just asking the questions that real reporters are supposed to ask of any president or administration.
