I have looked at gold seller premiums for sometime now... I could not get much interesting data (eg, 24hgold.com) re premiums vs. prices, but I DID just see this evening that tulving.com has raised their premiums on American Gold Eagles (2012) from $59 to $64 per ounce...

Today I bought some phizz from my coin shop (5.7% premium for AGEs)...

I wonder if tulving.com's higher premiums means anything, like growing scarcity of physical gold...

I haven't noticed any rise in the premiums of 1 ozt or 10 ozt gold bars at apmex, so it may be localized to the US Mint's Gold Eagles.
