Trump's nuclear attack 'doomsday plane' arrives in Washington​

A U.S. Air Force "Doomsday Plane" arrived at Joint Base Andrews Tuesday night, fueling speculation of a potential U.S. role in the escalating Israel-Iran crisis.

The E-4B Nightwatch aircraft landed at the military facility in suburban Washington, D.C., as speculation grows over potential U.S. military action in Iran.

The timing of the E-4B's deployment comes amid heightened tensions as President Donald Trump is reported to be inching closer to ordering military strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities. While the White House hasn't commented on the aircraft's latest movement, social media users are speculating it signals potential military readiness from the United States.

Since they can't hide the oilfields and protect the soilders, it makes since that to try and hide the soldiers, sadly, Iran's air to sea missiles are also very good...and as Iran runs down our anti missile systems are dwindling mighty fast, I hope Trump doesn't get stupid.

5 U.S. Ballistic Missile Defense Destroyers Now in the Mediterranean Sea​

The U.S. has positioned five ballistic missile defense-capable guided-missile destroyers in the Mediterranean Sea as Iranian forces launch salvos of ballistic missiles against Israel, a defense official confirmed to USNI News.

Two guided-missile destroyers, based in Rota, Spain — USS Paul Ignatius (DDG-117) and USS Oscar Austin (DDG-79) — entered the Mediterranean, joining three other BMD-capable destroyers in the region, the defense official said. Ship spotters observed Paul Ignatius leaving Rota on Tuesday.

USS Arleigh Burke (DDG-51), USS Thomas Hudner (DDG-116) and USS The Sullivans (DDG-68) were operating in the Eastern Mediterranean as Monday, according to the USNI News Fleet and Marine Tracker. In addition, the U.S. has two guided-missile destroyers operating in the Red Sea — USS Forrest Sherman (DDG-98) and USS Truxtun (DDG-103).

Won't happen. Not that they won't try.... Precedent was already set.

U.S. Strikes 3 Iranian Nuclear Sites Using B-2s, Sub-Launched Tomahawks​

The U.S. struck three nuclear sites in Iran, President Donald Trump said on social media late Saturday. U.S. forces struck sites Natanz, Isfahan and the Fordo uranium enrichment facility.
“Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated,” Trump said in an address at the White House.

Trump did not elaborate on how the strikes were carried out, but it’s been widely reported that B-2 Spirit long-range stealth bombers out of Whiteman Airbase, Mo., carrying GBU-57/B Massive Ordnance Penetrators participated in the attacks. The MOP is a 20-foot-long, 30,000-pound munition capable of tunneling through more than 100 feet of concrete.

President Donald Trump addressed the nation Saturday night, hours after announcing U.S. forces completed airstrikes on three nuclear sites in Iran. Trump asserted that Iran’s key nuclear sites were “completely and fully obliterated” in the address to the nation from the White House. There was no independent damage assessment.
The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran confirmed that attacks took place on its Fordo, Isfahan and Natanz sites, but it insisted that its nuclear program will not be stopped. Iran and the U.N. nuclear watchdog said there were no immediate signs of radioactive contamination at the three locations following the strikes.
It was not clear whether the U.S. would continue attacking Iran alongside its ally Israel, which has been engaged in a war with Iran for nine days. Trump acted without congressional authorization, and he warned that there would be additional strikes if Tehran retaliated against U.S. forces.
“There will either be peace or there will be tragedy for Iran,” he said.

My $.02:
- Oil & gold headed up. If the Straight of Hormuz gets blocked, oil up bigly and risk of contagion (WW3) increases.
- Not so much. Straight of Hormuz affects Europe and China more than us from what I've read.
- If our participation is limited to the 3 strikes, probably not. If things escalate and we get embroiled in more action, probably.
- We already have unrest (whether organic or Soros/USAID funded). Folks prone to radical action are already agitating over Gaza, this likely adds fuel to their fire, but I'm not sure if it galvanizes any new actors (significantly at least).
