It Americans gold so they should make new coins and issue every American taxpayer one until they run out. Welfare recipients excluded.The mint needs to restrike Indians and St. Gaudens out of the melted downs coins in Fort Knox. They are not good delivery bars anyway and I think the restrikes would sell out immediately.
A new $10 Indian with a W mint mark would sell as many as they could make. Then they could go up & down the line for decades minting each denomination or until the gold runs out. They would be instant collectibles.
