$100/week climb seems reasonable to me, but I honestly don't have as good a feel for the gold market as the silver market right now.
 
When does it happen? As soon as someone forgets to turn on Mr. Slammy some morning, soon.

I see gold hit $4650 this morning, before the algo monkey-hammers started dumping paper.
 
Touch intraday in NY. Closes get complicated, then there are weekly, monthly and quarterly averages.

When does the spot price of gold on the COMEX touch, hit or fondle $5000?
 
My crystal ball is in the shop, but if silver settles down around $100 and gold hits $5,000, that is a 50:1 GSR which pretty much tracks what some experts are predicting.
