This is right out of the Fidel Castro manual.

He was dead for, what, eight years?...before his "death" was announced. His double was unpersuasive - a willowy actor with a quick, innocent smile, so different from Fidel's career poker-face. Think back on what had happened - he'd had a large-intestine fissure, and physicians wanted to do a colostomy. He didn't want it - probably he thought he could still have a sex life.

So he went to some third-world clinic that promised they could sew the fissure up. Medical experts predicted a quick death of sepsis.

And the population was ready to launch a populist regime change; but CLINTOON wasn't ready to have his hero overthrown. So, with signalled support from Washingtoon, the farce began.

Now we're gonna have the same thing - Weekend at Bernie's in McConjob's office.
 
Where is Maxine Waters? She's been missing for months.

They did their best to bury it.

And without Lexis-Nexis, I don't know where I could find it now. I was watching with interest - I disremember the year; I guess it was after we were all online, because, prior to, we were all dependent on the Slimes-Newspeak-Alphabet-Network channels.

But it looked like the anti-Fidel forces were ready to spring once the Great Leader's death was announced.

So of course they had to keep him "alive" with a double. It was many years later, with Raoul having secured control and buried the stolen wealth, that they figured it safe to announce his "passing."
 
This makes the Republicans look worse than the Democrats. Go to the hospital and say hey.
 
Can a would-be Senate candidate, now denied a space on the ballot, for this fraud...sue or start criminal inquiries?

Can these people doing this, be convicted of election fraud, or even concealing a death or abuse of a corpse?

Who GETS that warmonger's PAY? He's getting paychecks. SOMEONE is getting the money. People have gone to prison for cashing Grandma's SS checks after she's dead and hidden in a freezer.
 
I heard that he was last seen playing canasta with Maxine Waters, who hasn't been seen since March.

Hey Casey! You need to check out the latest post in the "Motorheads: Cars, Trucks, and Tractors" thread. I posted another one of those American cars that can't hit 200 mph again. This one is a doozie.

Hmmm.

Horses for courses; and my course has a lot of speed-bumps that thing wouldn't make it over.

And my budget, like most people's, doesn't have $250k for a TOY.

And then, long life? The fastest cars have the shortest engine life. Changing a NASCAR racer's engine in the pit, was an art that legendary crew-chief Junior Johnson had down to a couple of minutes.

The price of the 1955 Corvette was $2774. Today's money it works out to $33,275. A bit less than the current price.

I suppose, if you're making a toy to sell to trust-fund babies to use on Track Day, you can gear it to get above 200 mph. Frankly, now, with all this turbocharged everything and ten-speed computer automatic transmissions, it seems MOST cars can get over 130.

And according to what I've read and seen, from Scotty and Car Wizard and others...the newest cars are not making it to 80k miles total. Not before something proprietary and/or driveline-related, blows up.

I remember the magazine article for the "new" Corvette. I think it was around 1984, give or take. The mileage stated was rather good, in the mid 20-s if I remember right. And the body changed from the old (shark?) that I hated to a newer and smoother style. But I was not going to buy their new car.
I got one of my RX2 cars to go pretty close to that. And it cost me a lot less. Compared to the new Corvette, you might call that car "almost free".

That seems consistent with my RX2 cars. They had power for a short while, then the seals went. On the other hand, the Mazda transmissions were really nice. They were tight and slipped into gear quickly and easily. For what it's worth, changing a clutch was not too bad for a young guy (me) who could handle the transmission and its oil falling on my chest during the procedure.

Going back to the Corvette, I think these are sold to compete with the shitty European "super cars" that some buyers seem to buy at a stupid shitty high price. When your competition is stupidly high priced, and their quality is shit, I applaud GM for producing a car that is much less shitty and a much lower price.

GM, I hate you, but I applaud you for slapping those European car makers and shoving a javelin in their ends where the sun doesn't shine.
