I would not trist the Canadians after they confiscated the trucker's bank accounts.

PSLV increased their units by 8,449,134 (around 2.9M toz of silver at the time) in the second week of July. They managed to acquire 2,601,795.00 toz last week (Mon-Wed). On Thu, they reported a reduction of 499 toz. Questions:

1) Are they still needing to buy an additional ~300k toz? Or does the amount of silver they need to buy to back the units vary with the spot price of silver (so a rising spot price means they don't have to buy as much today as they would have three weeks ago)?

2) It was my understanding that PSLV vaulted stock was supposed to be comprised exclusively of 1,000 toz London Good Delivery silver bars. How does their vaulted stock drop half a LGD bar on Thursday?

Dont trust it and never have. Others may, and likely have good reason too. After all western economies, markets, society's, are the most stable on earth. And there is a whole lot of the white metal both above and below ground. But If I wanted to hold paper I'd hold currency and in the end, despite it being fairly liquid, thats what you own.

But I'm just a petty, pithy player in the game. Were I a big player I'd own plenty of PSLV , SLV, and physical too. Gold most of all. If I were a rich oil Baron for sure because your a target for burglary or worse.

Only one place safer than Fort Knox to store your PMs.
