Gold today has gone nutso. I can't see buying at $3,589. This is nuts, and its down from $3,606. I think its time to sit and wait to see if the Fed lowers rates, and they will but how much ? And how many ?

I really dont see gold crashing by much, if at all. The markets are running scared. If anything I'll probably spend a few $K on silver before i buy more gold

Heh…
I remember sayin sumpin like that when it went to $1,200

i am still buying silver.....need to add about a 100oz to balance things.....then will think things over but probably start adding small gold slowly.......i am pretty much just buying local these days so probably will pick up some when i travel to town next week ....spot price really doesnt matter at small quantities to me just adding oz....... if someone on here wants to sell a bit of silver at what dealers are buying back right now let me know

This kind of reminds me of 2011. Not buying right now.
to me this feels a lot more controlled than 2011......for example in 2011 the online sites like this people were talking about buying silver on credit cards etc.....was common for wild talk of $100 silver.......no one talked selling........these days i see lots of retail sellers....no talk of using credit to buy silver....there is allways very high silver price projections ....point is while silver is high it doesnt seem frothy ..i dont see a lot of retail movement into silver....doesnt seem to be the proverbial conversation at the coffee pot....etc...

i mentioned i am still looking to buy a bit but i see no reason to chase things or get in a hurry...frankly i am not sure what else i would prefer to buy right now

i of course have no idea whats in the future those are just my observations .....i am a bit of a contrarian this time last year when premiums were outrageous and people were buying i wasnt buying ...today when people are selling and premiums are low i tend to buy

now bitcoin seems to be frothy so maybe that is where all the wild speculation has landed

Same about what else to buy.

Makes sense about a more measured rise with less hype. And premiums are pretty nice right now

I changed my mind and will just nibble at silver. No need to spend by the thousands. I think I'll add 10 oz before the end of the month and then see what coins are what and where on the 1st. Maybe I'll add 10 then. I'd love to have more koo-koos if I can find some with decent premiums.

Gold will just have to wait. Its to expensive for this peasant and already I have more $$ in it then I do silver so its time to even it out.
