    http://www.usmint.gov/mint_programs/american_eagles/?action=sales&year=2012 Silver to gold ounces sold = ~54.87 : 1 ratio. At an average (over the course of the year) GSR of say, 54, that looks to be roughly even money going into physical gold and silver from the US Mint.
