My Goodness we are now below Sun's news and rocket. What a $10,000 Pump and Dump in a day. I think its safe to say that Volatility has picked up.

And Eth is just about to my buy target under $2,000. Man, and I have some cash potentially available from an SMCI put. Gonna have to figure this out and get it done.

My goodness though we are Defintely seeing liquidity issues now. Eth below this trend line ~$2,000 and its an air pocket below. If it breaks that $1,914 ish Fib then I could easily see it moving straight down to $1,100.

There's a reason "HODL" entered the lexicon.

I been a big supporter of Saylor and MSTR ever since I put 10,000 shares in a watch account < $10 share. I also own the 2x ETF and have shorted it for a profit. I think 5 years from now everything now will look cheap in the future.

^^ some savage comments to that tweet. Seems lots of folks are mad the executive order didn't call for the government to spend tax dollars buying BTC - as evident from the market selloff on the news.

They stole the money, mostly. Lotta good that does.

Crypto Czar David Sacks told reporters this morning that he's not aware of any proposal on the table to remove capital gains taxes on crypto. It's not on his agenda.

So I find it interesting that my broker has been adding some Crypto back available driectly from them. Well they use ZeroHash.

Anyway they had been down to offering just 4 due to regulations. BTC, BCH, Eth and I think it was Litecoin.
Now they are up to 17 coins. However, these look to be the worst of them for the most part and mostly banker tokens. So I find that curious.

They now have AAVE?, SUI, XTZ, ADA, PEPE, APT, SHIB, XTZ, APT, XLM, DOGE, XRP, LINK, AVAX, and SOL. Solana at least added but not a fan or even heard of some of those others.

AAVE - DeFi focused coin. I used to own some a few years ago. I sold it all.
SUI - I like this coin: https://www.pmbug.com/threads/sui-blockchain-sui.7276/
XTZ (Tezos) - I remember not liking this one, but don't remember why.
ADA (Cardano) - I thought it was dead, but it keeps plugging along (I still own some): https://www.pmbug.com/threads/cardano-ada.7246/
PEPE - Meme coin - I'm not interested
APT (Aptos) - Has it's fans, but I haven't spent the time to evaluate it properly.
SHIB (Shibu Ina) - Another meme coin - I'm not interested
XLM (Stellar) - Centralized design, so I sold it, but it's a fast and cheap to transact crypto
DOGE (Dogecoin) - Elon's favorite meme coin. If Elon didn't pump it, no one would be paying it any attention.
XRP (Ripple) - I don't support evil: https://www.pmbug.com/threads/ripple-pumpers-selling-out-humanity-for-personal-profit.7536/
LINK (Chainlink) - Trying to be the DeFi bridge/link between all other cryptos. I don't own any currently, but this one has institutional partnerships and utility
AVAX (Avalanche) - I like this coin: https://www.pmbug.com/threads/avalanche-avax.7200/
SOL (Solana) - I like this coin for the short term; I expect a challenger will eventually surpass it (in terms of implied market cap).

$.02

Why would an exchange be offering some of these Meme coins as opposed to much larger or more used coins? I'm thinking things like Monero or Dash or Theta.

The reasons why exchanges list what they list and exclude what they don't is a mystery. I've pressed honchos at Coinbase to be more transparent with their criteria and process, but they have so far ignored me. There could be legal issues (SEC/securities concerns), structural issues (bad tokenomics) or some element of pay to play going on. Or maybe something else (low liquidity pairs for trading for example).

I suspect its the bankers letting them put out the low quality tokens to garner another usable liquidity pool, however small it may be. I KNOW they don't want anyone buying the privacy coins so that would be much more of a regulatory issue.
