Trump calls for one-year cap on credit card interest rates at 10%

U.S. President Donald Trump said on Friday he was calling for a one-year cap on credit card interest rates at 10% starting on Jan. 20, but he did not provide details on how his plan would come to fruition or how he planned to make companies comply.

Trump also made the pledge during the 2024 campaign, which he won, but analysts dismissed it at the time, saying such a step required congressional approval.

Lawmakers from both the Democratic and Republican parties have raised concerns about high rates and have called for those to be addressed. Republicans currently hold a narrow majority in both the Senate and the House of Representatives.

Congress is debating the possible consequences for ICE and even Noem after Renee Good’s killing

The killing of a Minnesota woman by an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer is reverberating across Capitol Hill where Democrats, and certain Republicans, are vowing an assertive response as President Donald Trump’s aggressive deportation operations spark protests nationwide.

Lawmakers are demanding a range of actions, from a full investigation into Renee Good’s shooting death and policy changes over law enforcement raids to the defunding of ICE operations and the impeachment of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, in what is fast becoming an inflection point.

“The situation that took place in Minnesota is a complete and total disgrace,” House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries of New York said as details emerged. “And in the next few days, we will be having conversations about a strong and forceful and appropriate response by House Democrats.”

^^^ Do the complete investigation. And DO NOT bury the findings when you find that the driver was guilty as hell, and the ICE agent was defending against his second attack. Yes, some reports on ICE agents seem dodgy, but this one seems pretty clear. Like the Floyd asshole who died from his own drug problems.

This is really good:

Trump vs. Davos: Delivering the Terms of Surrender

In this episode, Susan Kokinda questions if Davos is ready for Donald Trump as he plans to bring his economic team to the World Economic Forum in Switzerland. Emphasizing Trump's battle against globalism, she highlights his withdrawal from 66 international organizations and his team's strategic objectives to challenge the established globalist order. The video also delves into the historical context of Davos, the financial networks tied to globalist elites, and how the Trump administration's actions aim to dismantle these structures. Plus, find out about the Trump administration's crackdown on domestic fraud and enforcement activities.

Killer pickup GH, wasn't aware of the pending WEF circle jerk.

What happens in Davos a fortnight from now will be very telling.

Do you actually believe that bull crap?

Did you actually watch all thee vids of the incident, including that of the agent involved?

Do you realize that federal agencies have jurisdiction in and can also operate in, all 50 States?

Do you believe that self appointed watchers can just drive up on, and interfere with any gov agency carrying out it's lawful duties?

Does it seem ok that said watchers can park sideways in the road to block any gov agency in the process of carrying out official business?

If one does that, can one just tell them they can come talk about this later?

Does doing that seems normal and rational to you?

Once someone has injected themselves into a situation like that and have been ordered out of the vehicle, does it seem normal to try to suddenly speed away from the scene one has willfully injected themselves into?

Would you not agree that as long as entering and being in the nation illegally is against the law that ICE has a duty to enforce the law that congress enacted?

Did the city and State have a chance to work with ICE so that ICE doesn't have to go into neighborhoods looking for people they have warrants for? (I'll answer this one. Why yes, yes they did. But chose not to do so)

Why lawmakers are looking to trade Washington for governors’ mansions

A flood of lawmakers eyeing off-ramps from Washington are launching bids for governor — a record-setting exodus of congressional incumbents vying to be their states’ next chief executive.

Senators and representatives alike have long looked to state elections to trade their congressional seats for a ticket back home. But the rate at which members of Congress are sidestepping reelection this cycle to vie for the governor’s mansion has peaked — marking the most sitting lawmakers to run for governor in well over a decade, according to a POLITICO analysis of election data.

Moron warning...

You would never believe it, but that dingbat is 37 years old.

She sounds, and acts, like a sorority sophmore at Brown. After having taken a class on Modern Monetary Theory. All full of (someone ELSE's) IDEAS...and no clue how it will work out; how it worked out the last dozen times it was tried.

These are the Stupids that are gonna take us into the final plunge into the abyss.

They, the Elites, are not worried about "free." Notice how the power bill EXPLODES once a "data center" goes up in your city? YOU are paying for THEIR electricity. I don't know how, legally; but they're getting their power subsidized. Even before it goes online, the non-data-center customers start getting the new, subsidizing rates. Get the proles used to it.

The one thing the Power Elites HATE, is low-cost, or nearly-free, energy. The proles then tend to live too high. Like, 150 years ago, a slave putting a wood floor in his cabin. The slave may be a highly-trained carpenter; but he CAN NOT enjoy such a thing, EVER!

Some things never change. The Massas hate the n!grahs, then and now. Whether the Massa is in the Big House, or at Davos. Whether it's the dark laborers on the cotton fields, or the former Middle Class.

The following tech exists:

- Free energy
- Superluminal propulsion
- Instant communications
- Medical tech that can cure anything
- Replicator technology a la Star Trek

In the event this is all released on the Elite (they would never do it of their own volition), everything changes:

- Every conventional energy source and company becomes rendered obsolete and instantly bankrupt
- Every transport concern becomes defunct, all forms of existing transport become obsolete and impractical
- Every communications carrier becomes defunct, all existing forms of communications are rendered obsolete
- Big pharma becomes extinct overnight, all of medical science gets thrown into the dumpster
- Every crop grower, craftsman, miner, refiner and any other manufacturer/producer goes out of business overnight

And it's all without any AI. The Elite have expended trillions keeping it under wraps, for release would be an existential threat they could never neutralise.

Tesla and his contemporaries saw this world, however they didn't see the evil that would subsume it.

I'm not on any meds, mate. You'd sing a different tune if you knew anything about me. In all fairness, no one on here really does so instead of such retarded disparaging remarks, how about you ask questions and not attack my character or mental well being.

When it comes to politics we all have our own opinions.

The good old days. I mean, the good OLD days.

When the big crime was, "Nixon KNEW."

Not what he did. Not Majik Money Machines. Not erasing the nation's borders.

A penny-ante break-in in a campaign office. Did Nixon order it? No. Did he benefit from it? Not really.

His crime was, he was TOLD it happened, and he didn't arrest his whole campaign staff and send them out for execution. And then eat a gun himself.

THAT was a BIG DEAL...says the party that now is engaging in the Grate Replacement, replacing productive Americans with retarded, inbred, genetically-flawed Somalis...and not only subsidizing them, but making them richer than Andrew Carnegie could ever dream of. Oh, and making themselves rich in the process.

Do we EVER need a collapse and mass executions.

Trump’s playbook on Greenland, Venezuela, and Iran is about taking on China, analysts say

  • The Trump Administration has taken action in and against Venezuela and Iran this year, and ramped up rhetoric of Greenland’s importance in its national security.
  • Such international interventions may come down to one thing: China and its dominance of critical minerals.
  • Critical minerals are used in everything from EVs to AI and, crucially, defense.
In 10 days, Donald Trump captured the Venezuelan president, spooked European leaders with talk of annexing Greenland, and imposed 25% tariffs on anyone trading with Iran. The common thread may be America’s determination to challenge China and its dominance of critical minerals.

By deposing Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro and taking over the country’s oil industry, the U.S. can curb Chinese access to crucial resources and mining investments. By annexing Greenland, it could keep rivals out of emerging trade routes and, potentially, mining of minerals. By tariffing anyone trading with Iran, as protests threaten the survival of its regime, the U.S. can penalize both the Middle Eastern country and China for buying oil from it.

No shit!

Do we really want China controlling all the stuff we need?

If we don't assert ourselves, they WILL control vital resources we depend upon.

Set the partisan politics aside, and think of this from the perspective of what is ultimately good for our nation, long term.

I may have already posted this, but if you hadn"t seen it take a look at it.

Not saying it will happen by 2027, but there is a strong case for wanting Greenland.

IMHO, we should work WITH Denmark to get a result that is good for them as well as for us.

The points for it, are strong.
....but only if looking at it without making it only about Trump.

Agree with you 100 percent on this. The (red) chins are not our friends and they shouldn't be allowed to get a foothold here,

Unfortunately, they are WEF agenda water carriers.
Yes.

I'm just saying it should be negotiated over, not invaded militarily.

We already have at least one base there, so it's not as though negotiating an agreement is not possible. We just need to sweeten the pot enough to get them to see things our way.

See? We have at least some common ground.

Did you watch the vid?
