Worked fine till Trump renegged on the agreement, then the Iranians started to up the percentages...cause they knew Netanyahu had a ring thru Donnies nose.
It has not worked fine.
The previous 47 years of dealing with them.
From what I've heard, they (Iran) recently said that they have enough uranium for at least 11 bombs. If true, that's a pretty good reason.
No one should be ok with them becoming a nuclear power. No doubt they would share with their terrorist buddies.
If there is more to this, perhaps it would be a good idea for Trump to share more of the data he was privy to on this.

The City of London is fighting to keep control and it appears Trump is upsetting their apple cart.
McKinley was the last one to be on point: "American continent first" and they took him out. JFK was trying to remove their control of money. It looks as if Trump has a different plan altogether.

Miller's point isn't partisan. It's mathematical. These are the largest improvements in public safety in the history of this country — achieved in a single year — and the people whose job it is to inform the American public have buried them.

funny how they never define what the wealthiest American's 'fair share' is.
They actually pay something like 40% of their wealth, aka 'fair share' than the rest of the population.
Whenever I hear 'fair share' I immediately know they are liberal communists and not worth the time of day.
Lest we forget it was LBJ that took SS out of solvency and put all the money into the General Fund to be raided by Congress critters.
That's the ONLY reason there is a "Big problem" with SS.

They have in fact been working towards making them.
They have in fact been enriching uranium for that very purpose.
They say they are doing it for peaceful purposes, but enrich it far beyond the levels needed for energy generation.
Why would anyone who says they are only wanting a reactor for energy production, need to enrich uranium to weapons grade?
They were offered free fuel for nuclear energy generation, but refused it.
That'd be like them offering us free oil for life, but we decline.
If all they really wanted was to be able to produce fuel for a nuclear reactor, why would they not accept free fuel for it right now?
Because clearly, that is not all they are working towards.
Waiting until they actually have nukes, is an option?

We've discussed this, or I have. Trump has volition. He got into office of his own free will. He's now accepting these control strings - and not fighting and not doing the honorable thing, by bowing out. His resignation would have been a far moar powerful statement than any of his Greatest-Ever statements, or his stooges' trotting out fake crime and economic stats.
We had that exact deal, Donnie broke it, now Iran must make nukes for MAD...Mutual Assured Destruction, give them 20 small nukes and kick Israel into the 1947 UN Grant. Then runaway.

Bus was trying to drive onto a ferry.
I read that supposedly another ferry struck the pier causing the bus to lose control as it was attempting to load.
Had at least 40 people on the bus, but witnesses said there were 50 people on it, as more had gotten on.
24 trapped in the bus, 26 total died.
With the way that thing flipped over and sank, I am amazed as many were able to get out as what did.
Took 'em six hours to pull the bus out. Was in 30' of water.
Will probably know more in three days once the committee gets done with their investigation of the accident.
Admittedly, that was a "dumb blonde" moment if there ever was one.
Gotta say I would have preferred his first choice for AG.
Maybe that wouldn't have worked so well, either.
I thought Hegseth would have been a good choice. Now we know he's a Good Soldier in other ways...takes instruction without question, no matter how evil or foolish.

Musk runs at 100. Not low noise. Zero.
Every waking second aimed at the objective. No detour. No drift. No performance.
O’Leary has sat across from thousands of founders. The most driven people on the planet.
He found one who operates at that frequency. One.
But the comparison does not flatter Jobs the way you think it does.

Musk operates at 100% signal across six companies in six different industries simultaneously.
Jobs demanded obedience to his taste. Musk demands obedience to physics.
Jobs told the room what to think. Musk listens to the engineer closest to the problem, because that person holds the variable that changes the equation.
He does not walk in and silence the room. He walks in and interrogates it.
A blown prototype at SpaceX is not failure. It is data.
A missed deadline is not a lack of effort. It is proof the timeline was aggressive enough to force invention.
Jobs demanded control and got beautiful products.
Musk demands exploration and gets rockets that land themselves, cars that drive themselves, and chips that think for themselves.
The difference is not temperament. It is scale.
Jobs changed how people use technology.
Musk is changing whether the species survives.
Most people have not caught up to what that sentence means.
AI is rewriting every industry on the planet. Truth itself is becoming negotiable.
This is the window.
Wrong hands at the controls and open society does not recover.
Musk bought a platform and turned it into a public square. He is building the AI. The energy. The rockets. The satellites connecting the planet. The robots that will reshape labor.
The media calls him reckless. Dangerous. Uncontrollable.
They are right about one of those.
He is uncontrollable. By them.
He does not answer to editorial boards.
Does not answer to regulators who want to slow the future to a pace they can manage.
Does not answer to competitors who would rather he stopped building so they could catch up.
He answers to physics. To timelines. To the math of a species that does not get a second attempt.
The rarest combination on Earth is not intelligence and drive. It is intelligence, drive, and the willingness to let the mission burn through everything else.
Jobs built a company people loved.
Musk is building the floor beneath a civilization that has not noticed the ground is shifting.
100% signal. Zero noise.
History is not going to produce this combination twice. It was not supposed to produce it once.
He was up until Trump.
N Korea and nukes was all they talked about.
I seem to recall them being included in the "axis of evil".
Jobs was also a failure when taken out of Apple. Remember? He was flailing, just as the bean-counters were destroying Apple computer.
The two needed each other. Jobs had, by accident probably, designed an environment perfect for his abilities.
But I don't put much stock in hero worship. Jobs had his missteps...the Apple Watch was his idea, too. As was the discontinued, never-marketed, computer that was to replace the Macintosh line.
Musk, also. He's got some good ideas. But his wealth is from BATTERY CARS - a useless, jack-off idea that's little more practical now than when the goofballs (without actual money to buy one) started demanding them 20 years ago.
Tesla is where it is (was) because of cult following...rich Virtue Signallers who want to Show They Care. That market is pretty-much saturated, and - more telling - demand for Tesla drops, and public hostility increased, when Musk revealed he's not robotically in lockstep with the Woke insaniacs.
These are cultural phenomena that, IMHO, are driven by too much money in the hands of people too stupid to have it.

He's got nukes and he doesn't give two shits about Israel. He cares about his own power in NK. He's probably watching what's going on and wants to see how things play out in the long term.
NK, China, certain middle eastern countries along with Russia may be looking at how much weapons we are depleting in Ukraine and Iran and maybe waiting for a chance to do us in. Just a thought..........fwiw.
As for our NATO allies, maybe they are sick and tired of an American president who plays with our military and his power (think tariffs here) like they are toys and who acts like he is the king of the world.
No matter what you want to believe, prior to T things were pretty calm. Now that we have T things are chaotic, prices are going up and we now have chaos.

He wouldn't have to do that if only they played fair and quit tariffing all of our exports.
Why is not a peep heard when other nations tariff our stuff to the point of virtually closing their markets to our mfg's?

Prices going up? Where were you with Bidens inflation that was 6 times higher than today"s? Obozo kept oil prices over $100 for almost 5 years. Average price under Biden was over $5/gallon.
Yet only now do you complain about inflation when it's less than 2%?

Truflation was the go-to data around here when inflation actually was high. You know, under Biden.

Only reason it's as high as 1.5% is due to oil being up as of late.
Just to be as high as oil was during Obozo's term, when adjusted for inflation, would require a price of about $160/barrel.
Historically, oil is relatively reasonable when adjusted for inflation.
Edited to add: todays oil price (WTI) is like $64 in 2011 prices. Ie: when Obozo had it @$108
