I'd actually considered that.

But I've watched how the System devours the fresh fish. Either they're marginalized and smeared, like MJG, or they're corrupted, like Ted Cruz. Only the brightest manage not to be completely destroyed in the takedown, as Thomas Massie is so far doing.

What doesn't change is the System. Because Congress no longer runs it. Over at, I think, Burning Platform, someone reprinted an essay explaining how the bureaucracy got created by Wilsonites, and then became the Deep State and the Overlord.

Nothing can change it. The system is rotten to the core and the only solution is destruction. Which of course, sane people do not want to be part of.
