Supply and demand have more to due with price of a commodity like oil than inflation.
True, but comparing today's price to the past prices gives one a better idea of just how expensive or cheap it really is.

what I saw at the gas station earlier today. ($3.59 for regular)
Saw $3.49 a little bit ago.

National average in mid January 2026 was $2.84 Ie: "only" 60 cents cheaper.

National average is $4.33 and excluding the 5 highest tax States it is $4.17

I wanted to see how much California, Illinois, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Hawaii, and Washington with their high gas taxes, skewed the average.

Considering how much it could be if calculating inflation into the price, I don't really see what the big deal is. Could it be cheaper? Sure, but relatively speaking, it's not really that much more expensive either.

For one, gas will never be less than $2/gallon. Adjusted for inflation over the past 40 years or so, gas should be around $5 a gallon.

Health insurance won't ever be affordable, at least not if ya actually want to use it.

Have groceries ever gone down in price? Under any admin?

Apparently she's ok with Iran building nukes?

As for Epstein files, where are the victims?

Has there ever been a prosecution for such things without a victim coming forward and saying what happened?

Do they really convict for sex crimes based on something written on a paper, and no victim to testify?

Not that I have ever known of.

Anyone wanting Epstein-related arrests, needs to get the victims to start talking. Supposedly there's hundreds of them. Possibly over a thousand of them. Surely some are willing to come forward?
We're not going back on prices, absent a currency reset. That's a given.

The two tests to determine real pricing, and price movement, are: first, the Market-Basket Test; how many hours you have to work to buy whatever it is you're measuring.

Right now that test's not totally instructive, as wages are lagging inflation...we're all working cheaper, thanks to currency debasement.

The OTHER test, is...wait for its...the Gold Test. How much of whatever crap you want to buy, can you get with an ounce of gold.

I'd just came across a Eww Toob channel by a Dakota rancher, a young guy, and he worked that through. Houses today, AT CURRENT PRICES, are cheaper than they were in 1973. New cars, a little bit cheaper (cheaper in other ways, too).

Other necessities were more or in a few cases less expensive - and of course, there's other reasons for price changes besides inflation. I should have saved the link, but didn't think to do it.

As to the other questions you raise...it's a symptom of a delaminating society that we no longer punish wrongdoing, and in fact it's perpetuated within the leadership class. Great wrongs go un-redressed - those are the seeds of revolution, whether they lead to better or worse.

I no longer expect anything positive, out of this government or any other. Trump's course was SO easy; SO plain; and he's refused and continues not to do what he pledged and what we demand. These are not small expectations - massive exploitation of children, with a CIA operative as a kingpin. A bio-weapon virus released, as a cover to inject a poison in the masses. NOTHING done.

And 50 million invaders, most living on YUUUGE stipends:

What it means, and I've said it endlessly, is...collapse is inevitable.

Paul Craig Roberts lays out the dilemma:

One represents immigrant-invaders, the other represents Israel

Perhaps the question should be: Which party is less threatening to America.

Nineteen days from today the American electorate will decide the fate of Trump’s presidency by whether they return a Republican Congress or a Democrat one. The fate of the United States will turn on whether Republicans or Democrats control the House and Senate by a couple of votes. Such a small difference will make a huge difference.

The Democrats are evolving into an ideological party that is anti-white, anti-family, anti-traditional values, and anti-Constitution. The Democrats are committed to immigrants as their open borders policy and efforts to block ICE deportations show. They are committed to legalizing sexual perversions, with the last remaining one, pedophilia, being renamed “minor directed persons” and edging its way toward acceptance. They are committed to limiting freedom of expression of those they oppose by terming it “hate speech,” but their own hateful accusations are merely “holding white people accountable for racism” and men for misogyny and abuse of women. When Starbucks announced a ban on hiring men, and Gillette and Bud Light ran anti-male ads, the Democrats did not consider it hate speech. Any woman no matter how promiscuous can bring a rape charge and the male is instantly guilty. But say something unflattering about a black or a Jew and all hell breaks loose.

This double standard is being institutionalized in law, and that is the problem I am concerned with, about which more later.

Not all Democrats share these aggressive views toward opponents, probably not even a majority. But these are the active views. Their espousers are the ones getting attention, the ones winning primary upsets, the ones writing op-ed articles, the ones bringing lawsuits. A common feature of ideologues is they want to get their chosen opponents, and they will bend the law into a weapon to use against them. We have ample evidence that Democrats have a double standard, such as that provided by the black Democrat NY Attorney General Letitia James who tried to frame the President of the United States on a mortgage fraud claim while practicing mortgage fraud herself. Democrat prosecutors and judges are protecting black Democrat Letitia James from accountability to law, but the white President of the US had no such protection.

In recent years Democrats have given birth to a new term and a new practice–lawfare. Lawfare is the misuse of law to inflict harm on those Democrats think deserve harm, not to serve objective justice. In a regime of lawfare, which is rapidly rising in the US, justice is subjective and is delivered by those who control the narrative. Law schools support this practice by teaching that the proper use of law is to overthrow existing society and social mores.

...

What have Republicans done to oppose this? Nothing. Indeed, Republican stupidity has contributed to the Democrats’ success in transforming the US from an ethnic-based nation into a disunited multicultural hell.

MAGA Americans, whom I no longer see wearing MAGA hats, took Trump at his word that he was ending wars abroad and focusing on rebuilding America, not just economically, but also morally. Instead, Trump, like George W. Bush and Dick Cheney, took America to war for Israel.

At the beginning of his second year of his second term, facing a midterm election at the end of the year, President Trump took America to war with Iran for Israel. As the official US State Department explanation for the war states, the US went to war “at the request of Israel.”

It is necessary to ask, where was intelligence, if present at all, in Trump and the Republican Party agreeing to launch a war that would halt oil flows from the Middle East and drive up fuel and energy costs just prior to the midterm elections? This act of total stupidity shows how powerful the Israel Lobby is in forcing President Trump to destroy his presidency in service to Israel.

Energy prices affect all prices. Trump’s war for Israel has driven up all energy prices and inflation. Here are we 19 days before November 3, and Bloomberg reports that “The prices Americans are paying for goods jumped in September at the fastest pace in five months as accelerating inflation intensifies the affordability issue ahead of midterm US elections. Surveys show US households have become increasingly frustrated as price increases outpace wage growth. A separate report on Wednesday showed that average hourly earnings, adjusted for inflation, fell last month from a year earlier for a sixth consecutive month
.

Moar at linky.

It lays the choice, or lack thereof, out pretty plainly. Dr, Roberts is more objective, more dispassionate about this than I am, at this point. His closing point, not pasted here, is that the consequence of giving the Lawfare-Chaos-Erase-The-Borders mob power, is worse than giving an endorsement to Trump's subjugation of the country to Mossad and the Israeli war fetishists.

I'm not sure I agree. In any event, I'm one small vote - and I'm using it to say NONE OF THE ABOVE.

If Trump's endorsement of Netanyahu has you convinced the entire strategy just collapsed... you're still watching the chess pieces instead of the board...

The outrage, the confusion, and the accusations of flip flopping... everyone is so consumed with WHO Trump is supporting or confronting that they're missing WHAT may actually be unfolding...

Pause a minute... take a few deep breaths... because I'm going to attempt to make something very clear that changes how you interpret EVERYTHING happening in front of you...

This was NEVER about destroying Iran, Israel, Russia, China or any other sovereign nation... and it was NEVER simply about removing presidents, prime ministers or the political figureheads occupying those offices...

This is about TAKING DOWN THE NEW WORLD ORDER... not the countries themselves, but the entrenched power structures operating WITHIN them...

Follow the money... the banking networks, intelligence operations, institutional gatekeepers, proxy conflicts, energy chokepoints and political dependencies that keep nations divided, weakened and beholden to interests beyond their own borders...

Look at the sequence I've been mapping... Iran's military and financial networks under pressure, Hormuz and the global maritime arteries becoming strategic leverage points, Gulf nations developing independent security arrangements, Europe facing financial and political strain, and the Western Hemisphere undergoing its own strategic realignment...

Iran first... Israel last... not a sequence of nations to destroy, but a framework for understanding how entrenched systems of dependency could be dismantled...

Now reconsider Trump's endorsement of Netanyahu... strengthening a leader does NOT necessarily mean preserving the establishment surrounding him...

It may be about creating leverage, redefining expectations and positioning an existing government within an entirely different regional order...

Yesterday's adversary becomes tomorrow's partner... alliances shift... leaders are pressured, then embraced...

What looks like chaos at the surface reflects a much larger restructuring beneath it...

Let's stop confusing the figureheads with the forces behind them and stop assuming every tactical reversal represents a strategic surrender... that distinction is EVERYTHING...

The nations were never the target... the objective I've been mapping is to break the machinery that keeps them dependent, divided and perpetually in conflict...

The countries remain... the system of dark control comes down...

Hillary Clinton in 2008:

“If they’ve committed a crime… DEPORT THEM! No questions asked. You’re gone!

If you want to become a citizen you have to pay a stiff fine, pay back taxes, and learn english.”

Today’s Democratic party would call her a MAGA far-right extremist on CNN.
