My First Helicopter SOLO! Robinson R44​

Hey everyone, it’s been a while! Last week I flew my very first solo flight in the Robinson R44 and it was fantastic!
This summer I started my journey to becoming a certified helicopter pilot, and after 9 lessons, I took to the sky all by myself. This has been a dream come true, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of my sponsor and the wonderful instructors at Heli Air. Fly with me to Monterey ft. Deb got a Flat Tire on Landing​

Join me and my old student Kelsey as we fly to Monterey, California!
This is actually not my first time at this airport, as I used to train out of Watsonville Airport (KWVI) and practiced towered communications at KMRY as a student. Del Monte Aviation had a beautiful FBO, great service, and cheap 100LL. They lent us a crew car so we could drive down Cannery Row as well as have lunch at Rockfish on the Fisherman's Wharf!
Monterey is known for advection fog, especially around this time of year. We were happy with the day we chose to fly, as it was beautifully blue and sunny. The flight couldn't be too easy though, as on our way back Deb's front tire sprung a leak and went flat on the runway. Don't ask me how, the mechanics can't even figure out how the small hole got into the inside of the tube. That's aircraft ownership for you :)

Got to the spend the day with my bestfriend. I always pack my Factor meals with me racking.

US teen influencer detained in Antarctica while attempting solo flight to 7 continents​

A teenage pilot, who is attempting to fly all seven continents solo, hit a patch of rough air this weekend when Chilean authorities detained him for changing his flight plan without their permission and landing in Antarctica.

Chilean prosecutors say American influencer Ethan Guo, 19, broke “multiple national and international regulations” by changing his flight plans without prior notice, landing on a part of Antarctica where the South American country maintains a territorial claim.

I departed Nashville in the stunning Display DA62 and set course for the world’s busiest airspace—Oshkosh! This was my very first time flying the legendary Fisk Arrival completely solo, and it was everything I imagined: chaotic, intense, and absolutely unforgettable.
Flying into EAA AirVenture is always special, over the famous Fisk railroad tracks, mixing it up with every type of aircraft imaginable, and making it into Oshkosh safely on my own was a huge milestone.
Come along for the ride as I share the views, the radio calls, and the sheer excitement (and nerves) of tackling the busiest arrival in the world—all from the left seat of the DA62!
