There’s a shocking disparity between how high-income and low-income earners feel about the economy​


  • JPMorgan data shows how Americans in different income brackets perceive the economy.
  • An analyst said the data shows a “notable bifurcation” between income groups.
Americans have vastly different views of the economy — and the divergence is being driven in part by income bracket, data shows.

Higher-income consumers were more likely to report stronger economic confidence readings when asked to consider the next year given changes since the presidential election, according to JPMorgan’s Cost of Living Survey.

US is working on doubling aid to Argentina to $40 billion by tapping private funding sources​

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration is looking to provide an additional $20 billion in financing for Argentina through a mix of financing from sovereign funds and the private sector.

That would come on top of the $20 billion credit swap line that the U.S. Treasury pledged to Argentine President Javier Milei and his government this month to bolster the South American nation's collapsing currency.

What we know about White House plans for an 'Arc de Trump'​

US President Donald Trump wants to build a triumphal arch across from the Lincoln Memorial in Washington DC, the latest in his efforts to make over the capital city in his style.

The so-called Arc de Trump would commemorate the country's 250th anniversary next year and is reportedly being privately funded by Trump's supporters.

A real estate developer by trade, Trump teased plans last week with renderings for the structure being laid out during an Oval Office meeting.

His other second-term developments include a gilded makeover for the White House, paving over the Rose Garden and constructing a $250m ballroom, as well as the clearing of homeless encampments throughout the capital.

How about Andrew Jackson, when he told the Stuporeme Kourt they could try enforcing their order - and then proceeded to ignore it.

All three of them played a LOT looser with the Constitution.

Trump is becoming increasingly impaired/unhinged, as time goes on. I really think he has Biden Syndrome going on. And I really think we're not doing ourselves a favor, in admitting it.

We have to figure out what about After.

I'm sorry Massie has become a momentary enemy of The Donald. That's his style; but as with other dementia patients, The Greatest President in the history of history, is falling back onto personal routines and tics. Massie doesn't fall in line with what Trump immediately needs - and Trump is spending no time exploring Massie's views, is just demonizing him.

I really hope Massie can survive this, that he isn't somehow primaried back into non-political life. He's a rare gem.
 

Federal Workers Given Secret Order as Trump Tears Down Part of the White House​

The Trump administration has ordered federal employees not to share photos of the East Wing of the White House being demolished to make way for the president’s $250 million vanity project

The Treasury Department’s headquarters, which are located next door to the East Wing, look out on the construction site for the 90,000-square-foot ballroom Donald Trump is building with private donor funds.

Treasury employees received an email Monday evening telling them not to document the demolition, the Wall Street Journal reported.

“As construction proceeds on the White House grounds, employees should refrain from taking and sharing photographs of the grounds, to include the East Wing, without prior approval from the Office of Public Affairs,” a Treasury official wrote.

A Missouri charity boss swiped nearly $11 million meant for food-starved, low-income kids and blew it on lavish items such as mansions and a flashy yellow Mercedes for her boyfriend, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Connie Bobo, 46, who ran the New Heights Community Resource Center in Bridgeton, allegedly claimed she had spent $20 million of the federally allocated taxpayer money to feed the children between February 2019 to March 2022.
