Army Secretary Dan Driscoll has submitted his resignation to President Donald Trump, multiple sources familiar with the matter told CNN.
One source said the decision was unsurprising given tension between Driscoll and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.
A second source familiar said that in his resignation, Driscoll “brought up concerns with the administration surrounding Army transformation and readiness and Hegseth’s blocking those efforts specifically by firing the generals who were responsible.”

I would like my food products to be labeled correctly.
Maybe I will be okay with beef chunks from Argentina, but I want to know.
For now, it looks like less than one pound per person, so it goes into the stew pot. No objections.
In the meantime, ribeye prices over $15 (and up to $19) are on my mind.

Did I hear the American beef producers apologizing for the high prices? Sorry, I must have missed their apology. Or their clear and specific arithmetic about why beef prices need to be twice NO! Three times what they were recently.

When I was younger, the good (sale) price for ground beef was ONE DOLLAR a pound.

Maybe the beef producers have higher costs. Okay. Let them show their costs.
And why does ground beef go for five dollars a pound today?
I am not shooting anyone, but I want answers.
