For those who like to read:

Wow. The guy calls Trump insane & then says that he turns on the TV to watch " Rachel Maddow ". There's some insanity on it's own :lmao:

I'm in AUS & certainly not a Trump supporter. I think his escapade in Venezuela is totally illegal.

*Note: This is from the DM. Has lots of pics & stuff. May not want to open with a phone.

My son just got back from a trip to Mexico yesterday. I'm glad he made it home before the proverbial fan gets soiled.

Of course. That was a no-brainer - showing, more Trump's increasing distance from reality (Al's Hammer, probably) and this dingbat's SYMBOLIC selection.

The igNobel Woketards brought this idiocy on themselves, picking that simpleton, instead of someone actually working for peace. If someone can actually do it. If anyone left on the planet, of any standing, even WANTS anything other than war and a chance to loot another people, most-likely Russia.

I read shit like this, and think of ALL the lies, damned lies, Treason, that the party controlling the poster has been up to.

Did Minneapolis JUST HAPPEN? Or did the party offering snarky criticism here, DO IT?

Hegalian Dialectic put into real-world actions. They created social and government-fiscal chaos, and now they tell them the problem is the flawed man we put in to FIX their chaos!

I'm DONE even CONSIDERING the points-of-view of liars and traitors.

How the Crusades Built Europe’s War Economy

Dec 24, 2025 The Financial History Files
A holy war that accidentally built Europe’s first financial system.
When the Crusades began, they were framed as an act of faith. But behind the sermons, vows, and sacred promises, something far more durable was taking shape. This video explores how medieval Europe transformed religious devotion into a vast economic engine — one that mobilized capital, created new financial institutions, standardized debt, and quietly rewired how money, power, and risk flowed across the continent.
By following the Crusades not as battles, but as transactions, we uncover how land was liquidated, credit expanded, banks emerged, and entire industries formed around perpetual war. Long after Jerusalem was lost, the financial machinery endured — repurposed, refined, and embedded into Europe’s economic foundations. What began as salvation became infrastructure. And the consequences still shape the modern financial system.

Key Facts & Insights
• The First Crusade (1096–1099) mobilized up to 100,000 people and forced mass liquidation of land and assets across Europe
• Knights often spent the equivalent of several years’ income to participate, financing themselves through debt and asset sales
• Military orders like the Knights Templar pioneered early banking tools, including deposits, transfers, and letters of credit
• Crusading taxes became recurring revenue streams long after military success declined
• By the fall of Acre in 1291, the religious mission had failed — but the financial structures remained
• War financing normalized long-term debt, interest-bearing loans, and institutionalized credit
• The Crusades helped shift Europe from feudal wealth toward a cash- and credit-based economy

Not a new game a-TALL.

The Glow-bull-ists have been playing that game in China for 30 years, now. They tried to play it in Russia - and were turned out. Even when not Communist, Russians are no one to pfuk with.

They had better putting the other end of mercantilism against US. Who has it worse - the plantation slaves, made to work; or those whose work is TAKEN AWAY, and then have to spend their saved wealth for the necessities of life?

Russia watches as ally Iran edges closer to collapse. Here’s why it matters for Moscow

  • Russia will be focused on how protests unfold in Iran, given Tehran’s position as a key strategic, military, economic, and trade partner for Moscow in the Middle East.
  • The prospect of another ally falling in the Middle East will be a worrying one for Moscow, particularly after it has seen its alliances with Venezuela, Syria, and the Caucasus upended recently.
  • Neither the Kremlin nor President Vladimir Putin has commented on unrest in Iran.
As Iran’s future hangs in the balance as civil unrest gathers steam, its powerful ally Russia can do little but watch and wait as the U.S. ponders its next move against the Islamic Republic.

U.S. President Donald Trump has not ruled out using military strikes against the conservative religious regime that has ruled Iran since 1979. On Tuesday, he repeated that threat, warning the U.S. would take “very strong action” if Iran executed arrested protestors. Trump has already said any country doing business with Iran would be hit with a 25% tariff.

Man charged with shining laser pointer at Trump’s helicopter acquitted in 35 minutes

A man who was charged with a felony for allegedly shining a laser beam at Marine One while it carried President Donald Trump was found not guilty by a Washington, D.C., jury in less than an hour on Tuesday.

The acquittal of Jacob Winkler marks yet another embarrassing setback for Jeanine Pirro, the Trump-appointed U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia, who’s struggled to make an example out of people her office claims assaulted federal agents or threatened the president.

Winkler, 33, was arrested in September when a U.S. Secret Service agent allegedly saw him shine the red beam at the low-flying helicopter shortly after it departed from the White House grounds. The felony charge for pointing a laser at an aircraft carries a maximum five-year prison sentence.

Idiots.

They don't understand the risks of intense lasers.

Because they've grown up with supermarket scanners, and think they're totally safe.

A high-intensity laser can and has, blind(ed) pilots, damaged navigation equipment. I don't know if it's resulted directly into crashes, but it's clearly malicious.

I hate to say it, but in this Battle for Idiocracy, the idiots are winning.

UN High Seas Treaty Enters Into Force

SINGAPORE, Jan 17 (Reuters) – A landmark global treaty to safeguard biodiversity in the high seas came into effect on Saturday, providing countries with a legally binding framework to tackle threats such as overfishing and meet a target to protect 30% of the ocean environment by 2030.

The U.N. treaty, also known as Biodiversity Beyond National Jurisdiction (BBNJ), was finalized in March 2023 after 15 years of negotiations, and will allow the creation of a global network of “marine protected areas” in vast and previously unregulated ocean ecosystems lying in international waters.
