Trump’s ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, resigns after allegations of improper conduct

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump’s ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, resigned on Tuesday after allegations of improper conduct but insisted she’ll “vigorously defend” herself.

Trump’s administration said earlier Tuesday it had asked Guilfoyle to leave her post after she faced severe criticism over allegations she engaged in improper and possibly illegal conduct before and during her tenure in Athens.

Trump cancels deposition in BBC case, lawyers say

President Donald Trump was set to be deposed Friday in a defamation lawsuit he filed against the British Broadcasting Corporation, but his lawyers recently canceled the session and said he is unavailable through at least mid-December, according to a court filing.

“The President is no longer available for his deposition on October 16 due to other matters of national importance,” Trump’s attorneys told lawyers for the BBC late last month, the network’s attorneys said in motion Tuesday. The BBC is asking a judge to force Trump to set a firm date to submit to questioning in the case.

I don't see why any of this is a big deal. Let them back in and give them seats in the back of the room. Remember when the pedophile administration did that to OAN's Chanel Rion? And simply do not call on them. There are a lot of "reporters" in that room - not everybody gets to ask a question. I think it would be a graceful display of "equity" if the new White House spokesperson gave others an opportunity to ask questions for a change. And aren't liberals all about "equity"? ☺️

So let the seditious media back in the room and simply ignore them. And, if they get obnoxious about it, dress them down like a little child in front of their peers. Stress the importance of "sharing" the time and admonish them for being "selfish". Then, abruptly end the session. 😀

Hell, I would put on a suit and make the 60-minute drive and do it for free just to see their faces.

US: What we have on Shkreli is just the tip of the iceberg

Martin Shkreli's exile from the drug world may not have stuck, according to regulators who say he jumped back in almost as soon as the court told him to get out. In a new filing, the Federal Trade Commission and attorneys general from New York and six other states accuse Shkreli, aka "Pharma Bro," of blatantly breaching a 2022 lifetime ban that barred him from the pharmaceutical industry after his Daraprim price-hike case, per the New York Times. They say the 43-year-old traded shares of numerous drug companies, ran online trading contests, and used livestreams to tout bets against biotech firms, all while claiming, "I'm showing you how to trade and invest in biotech."

Doug Casey's Take

Oct 14, 2026 Doug Casey's Take
Novelist and essayist James Howard Kunstler (The Long Emergency, the World Made by Hand series) joins Doug Casey and Matt Smith. Kunstler expects prosecutions after the midterms, starting with John Brennan's grand jury appearance. He also says the US military won't let radicals take the levers of power, and that the country has slid from high trust to no trust. Doug and Kunstler clash over the Iran war. Also: Europe tottering, why US shale is more fragile than it looks, what Kunstler got wrong in The Long Emergency, Israel and Gaza, Ukraine and NATO, and the deep state.

Kunstler: Half the Country Is Literally Insane
1:33:11

A newly leaked memo proved that Biden Special Counsel Jack Smith —who handled the Trump Mar-a-Lago documents case and the ‘insurrection’ prosecution— was not just looking at the president, forty-four Republican congressmen, and eight GOP senators. Smith was also building a vast and highly detailed database on 640,000 garden-variety Republican voters, donors, and supporters.

But why?? Smith, who looks just like a Don Knotts clone from Star Trek’s evil dimension (the so-called “Mirror Universe”) was asked that question at Senate Judiciary Committee hearing a couple weeks ago. He started by pledging that he would answer why, right before not answering why.

It was “to conduct a criminal investigation of one of the most serious crimes that’s ever happened in our nation’s history,” Smith supposedly ‘explained,’ without any exaggeration. He was referring to his ‘insurrection’ theory, that Trump tried to ‘overthrow’ the 2020 election. Was Smith saying that everyone who ever donated $7 to a Trump fundraiser was part of a ‘criminal insurrection investigation?’ That’s the logical conclusion. (“I had a duty to collect facts,” Smith insisted. 640,000 of them.)

Even if that ridiculous claim were somehow defensible —which it isn’t— the memo that Committee Chair Chuck Grassley published yesterday shows even that outrageous argument to be a lie. Smith’s special counsel office and the DOJ “obtained spreadsheets containing Republican campaign donors, supporters, and detailed personal voter information in various formats, totaling over 639,000 individuals, at minimum,” Grassley said in the memo.

Most significantly, some of the records Smith collected dated back to 2005— long before Trump even thought about riding down the Trump Tower escalator. That’s a pretty durable conspiracy. According to Smith, all those GOP donors somehow knew Biden would steal the 2020 election fifteen years before it happened.

“The data gathered on the voters and donors,” Fox reported, “included names, dates of birth, physical addresses, emails, whether the person was a registered Republican, their occupation and place of employment — samples on the list included retirees, pool technicians, drivers, loggers, etc. — credit card information, donor analysis data and donation amount, among other details.”

Remember— these are the same Democrats filing lawsuits to stop the federal government from getting voter registration information on illegal immigrants in their states because privacy. Just saying.
To anyone with half a functional brain —here I rule out all corporate media reporters— Smith was obviously building an enemies list so ambitiously vast it would have made President Nixon leap into a Crying Games style shower.
Can you spot the beautiful irony? Grassley’s memo landed just as the ‘weaponization’ complaints over Ilhan Omar’s raid reached maximum volume. Chairman Grassley took their Ilhan Omar bid and raised them, pushing in a giant pile of 640,000 chips. So you want to talk about weaponization?
Democrats’ best argument —that DOJ should stay all the way out of politics— has been overthrown, not by Republicans but by their own shenanigans. They so absurdly weaponized the criminal justice system during the Autopen Era that their complaints cannot be taken seriously. At this point, Trump could investigate any Democrat politician and Republicans would cheer.

During Trump 1.0, the “lock her up” chant was popular in MAGA circles but never left the political tarmac. Obviously, Democrats labeled “lock her up” as incipient fascism and reckless Trump talk. But too many Republicans were also uncomfortable with the idea of arresting Hillary, about starting something that could snowball in unpredictable ways.

My friends, those days are over. Since Democrats enthusiastically endorsed Jack Smith building a secret database of GOP donors, there is no longer any ‘red line’ to cross. It’s been smudged out. Whenever Todd Blanche is challenged by a corporate media reporter about weaponization, all he need do is shoot back, “what about 640,000 everyday citizens in Jack Smith’s criminal database?” Case closed.
One can fairly wonder where all this ends. This week, the Democrats’ DSA candidate for U.S. Senate in Florida, Angie Nixon, told CNN that she wanted her opponent, incumbent Ashley Moody, put in prison. “I want her locked up and punished in jail for what she’s done,” Nixon said, without naming what crimes, exactly, Moody is supposed to have committed. Illegal use of pronouns, maybe?

CNN’s anchor Kasie Hunt, incredulous, asked Nixon to repeat it, saying, “What she has done?” Nixon quadrupled down: “Yeah, basically, yes. Because of what she did, yes. I absolutely would want that to happen, yes.” Four yeses.

It didn’t help that Ms. Nixon’s arguments were at a roughly third-grade reading level. (The Democrat bench is getting very thin.) But the point is, it is difficult for Democrats to rationally complain about “weaponization” against Ilhan Omar while their Senate candidates go on CNN to request, for unspecified crimes, that Republican candidates be jailed.

The Democrats and their senile leader Biden put us on this greased slip-n-slide, and we are all sliding downhill, faster and faster. Where will it end? One imagines that hard lessons will be learned by the time we hit bottom going around 90 mph. I assume the Senate Leadership fund, flush with Musk’s millions, will run the Nixon clip all over Florida, which is a gift in itself.

Imagine being Trump...

You get a report that core inflation is down to a five-year low (the lowest since the last time you were president), and you send out a Truth Social post to let the people know.

Then you pick up the newspaper and read a headline about the "inflation crisis" after Democrats destroyed the economy and ushered in the worst inflation in 40 years, right after you handed them perfect inflation.

Then you turn on the TV, and Blackface Jimmy Kimmel has on the racist running for Senate in Texas, and they're both telling millions of people to vote for Democrats to "end inflation" and "fix the economy."

No wonder Trump is insane 🤣

The people know. That explains the horrible ratings being enjoyed by the legacy media. Nobody is watching them any longer. They will continue to lie and spin, but even they know that the people no longer believe them. They have lost their powers. All because of TDS.

FBI agents and analysts fired for roles in Trump classified files probe sue to get their jobs back

WASHINGTON (AP) — FBI employees fired for their roles in the investigation of President Donald Trump's retention of classified documents at his Florida estate sued on Thursday to get their jobs back, calling their terminations unlawful acts of “political retribution.”

The complaint adds to the growing list of legal challenges to the mass terminations under FBI Director Kash Patel of agents who participated in investigations of the Republican president or are seen as opposed to Trump administration interests.

The suit was filed in federal court in Washington on behalf of nine agents, intelligence analysts and staff operations specialists who were fired in February following earlier dismissals of agents who had worked on the investigation into Trump's efforts to overturn his 2020 presidential election loss to Democrat Joe Biden.

The problem that I am seeing here is that the Mar A Lago raid had nothing to do with the democrats stealing the 2020 election. It was ostensibly "part of an investigation into the removal of official presidential records from the White House to the Florida resort". The thing is, as President he was allowed to remove official Presidential records.

A far more likely scenario is the one put forth by Devin Nunes who has renewed speculation that the FBI’s 2022 raid on President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate was driven by an effort to retrieve a sensitive congressional report that discredits the Intelligence Community’s official narrative surrounding Russian interference in the 2016 election.

The report in question — compiled in 2020 by the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI) — was formally titled:
The Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA): “Russia’s Influence Campaign Targeting the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election”, dated September 18, 2020, and approved for release by the Director of National Intelligence on July 22, 2025.

Declassified under the direction of current Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard, the 46-page oversight document sharply criticizes the methodology and conclusions of the January 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment, which claimed with “high confidence” that Russian President Vladimir Putin sought to help Trump win the presidency.

The ICA oversight report was the product of a two-year investigation by the Republican-led HPSCI majority. It concludes that the Intelligence Community’s 2017 assessment relied on uncorroborated sources and did not adhere to standard tradecraft. The report alleges that dissenting analytical voices were sidelined, and that the ICA’s claim of Putin’s preference for Trump was “unsupported” by the underlying intelligence.

Despite former President Trump declassifying the report before leaving office in January 2021, it remained suppressed within the Intelligence Community for over four years. The public first saw the document when DNI Gabbard authorized its release on July 22, 2025.

According to the report’s preface, its objective was to review how the ICA — ordered by President Obama in December 2016 — was assembled, and whether it reflected genuine intelligence consensus or political bias.

Nunes: Trump May Have Possessed the Only Copy Outside Intelligence Control

In a recent interview with host Grant Stinchfield, Nunes stated that the Intelligence Community may have believed Trump retained the only physical copy of the oversight report outside government control when he left office. That suspicion, he argued, may have played a role in prompting the August 8, 2022, FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago.

He further suggested that the report directly contradicted core premises of the Russia investigation and that some intelligence officials may have worked to keep it hidden for years.

Nunes’s assertions are supported by a February 2, 2018 letter from then-White House Counsel Don McGahn, which affirmed President Trump’s constitutional authority to declassify intelligence materials. That letter accompanied the release of a separate HPSCI Majority Staff Memorandum, which alleged abuses of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) in surveillance activities related to the Trump campaign.

That 2018 memo detailed how the now-discredited Steele dossier, funded by the DNC and Clinton campaign, was central to the FBI’s FISA applications targeting campaign adviser Carter Page. The dossier’s political origins were not fully disclosed to the court, and portions of the document remained unverified.

Doug Casey's Take

Oct 16, 2026 Doug Casey's Take
Doug Casey and Matt Smith on the gap between the flash and the bang. The war in the Middle East started February 28th, the Strait of Hormuz is choked, and Saudi Arabia and Yemen are now at war, yet most Americans still ask "What war?" Spot oil in the North Sea is $136 while the futures market says somewhere in the $90s. Why are markets disconnected from reality, and how long before the bang? Plus Saudi Arabia and MBS, Egypt, Israel fatigue, Indonesia's gas lines, AI and the new rust belt, the Fort Hood execution, and why Doug says "the shit will really have hit the fan" anytime between tomorrow and a couple of years from now.

Oil Is $136 on the Ground. Why Does Wall Street Say $95?

From “no one is above the law” to “corrupt weaponization”: How Democratic rhetoric shifted when law enforcement targeted one of their own. Ironically, the investigation into Omar's activities, associations and finances first began in the Biden administration.

This is funny. The clown, Carney, is pretending that Canada isn't already owned by the Bank of London. :ROFLMAO:

The vote is not a direct referendum on independence. Alberta, which has the world’s fourth-largest proven oil reserves, will decide whether to remain a province or instruct the government to begin the legal process toward a future referendum on separation.

“This referendum comes at the worst possible time,” Carney told a large pro-Canada rally in Calgary. “The world has become more dangerous and divided. Some outside our borders are working to break us so they can own us.”
