He could 'easily' save his pregnant fiancée's parents from foreclosure, but he refuses to help because the house was once already paid off

A 31-year-old musician is drawing a hard line with his pregnant fiancée after she asked him to use 15% of his savings to bail out her parents, who are about to lose their home. The home, which was inherited and once fully paid off, is now facing foreclosure.

The House Was Free And Clear Until They Mortgaged It

According to the musician, who shared his story on Reddit’s r/AITAH recently, the house originally belonged to his fiancée's grandmother before her parents inherited it 15 years ago. It was completely paid off. But her parents later took out a mortgage to access cash, and after years of struggling to make payments, the bank is now invoking the acceleration clause.

What would you do if a coworker as you for your bonus?

'I thought we were friends,' woman says after coworker asked for her bonus—arguing she spends freely and has no kids, so she doesn't need it

Work friendships can be comforting—until they twist into something that makes you question everything. Like when someone asks for your bonus. Not because you skipped work. But because you don't have children.

That's exactly what happened to one woman, who posted her story to the r/EntitledPeople subreddit under the title: "My Coworker Asked Me to Give Her My Bonus Because I Don't Have Kids—what should I do?"

My friends owe me money from 8 months ago—is it too late for me to ask? What etiquette experts say

My fiancé and I are about to be the winners of our friend group’s March Madness pool. The way things have shaken out, no matter which team triumphs, one of us is certain to win the pool — a victory for our joint wedding fund either way.

But as I was calculating our eventual winnings, I had a realization. I also commission a fantasy football league that I did not, in fact, win. I’d paid the prizes to the winner and runner up back in December, but had I collected everyone’s entry fees?

Haven't seen the clip. Ramsey is getting tedious, to me. He's arguing the obvious, but won't take it the next step further - PMs, since conventional investments, land and equity, are in bubbles not seen in a century.

THAT SAID..."your" inheritance is not yours until the Probate judge releases it, and the Executor hands it to you. You have no right to the property of another. If someone CHOOSES to will you his money, that's his call.

It's not yours. If your wealthy parents are meth-heads...that's unfortunate. It would seem that they arrived at that unfortunate juncture through immaturity - something that you probably share.

Go get a job.

Money
I've always paid my own way after I was 19.
I saved money instead of buying toys or trying to 'keep up with the neighbors'
I've loaned people money that's never repaid.
I've seen people sit at a table with eight or ten others and never pay for a pitcher but still drink all night.
I watched people with a whole shopping cart FULL OF pork, beef & chicken and pay for it with EBT (food stamps we used to call it).
A friend of mine was killed in a robbery of his watch.
People seem to loose their minds over a few stinking bucks.
And just how much money is 'enough'?
