BREAKING: Congressman Keith Self - who switched his vote at the last minute for Speaker Johnson - issues statement for why he did it.

"My sole focus was advancing the Trump agenda. To ensure this, I expressed concerns to Speaker Johnson about fiscal responsibility and holding the line on deficit spending—key priorities for my constituents."

"After receiving firm assurances from the Speaker, that Republicans in the House will have strong representation during the budget reconciliation process—a cornerstone of President Trump’s agenda—I changed my initial vote."

"I appreciate Speaker Johnson addressing these critical issues."

Never understood why people were messing with Mike, I'll bet he has the right credentials...
If you've followed a certain letter of the alphabet...

You're watching a movie.

I think that Trump & Co has everything laid out. Mike is doing what he is supposed to be doing.

Lots of opinions flying around. Some 'for' others 'agin'...

I just sit watching the traffic go past while enjoying the show.

Not to say I'm complacent. I'm not.

Waiting for the next shoe to drop - the 16th Amendment attempt to deny Trump's presidency based upon a phony court case....

Wondering how that will all pan out....

Joe Biden’s fiscal time bomb is set to explode just in time time for Trump to take office

By Charles Gasparino
Published Jan. 4, 2025

As evidence keeps building that the hapless Biden administration couldn’t end fast enough, there’s also evidence that the first Trump presidency of strong growth and low inflation pre-COVID won’t return immediately.

That’s the signal we’re getting from the bond market: The possibility that the fiscal time bomb of nonstop spending that Joe Biden and his minions have planted is ready to explode just in time for Trump to take office.

Most of the financial punditry is too obsessed with stock indexes to appreciate the bond market’s warning signs.

Stock prices have their place, of course.

When investors pile into stocks as they’ve been doing since Trump’s election — until recently, that is — it’s an indication that many are betting his policies of lower taxes and less regulation will lead to higher corporate earnings and GDP growth.

For my money, the bond markets provide a more accurate window into underlying fissures that could lead to severe fiscal distress in the future.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Congress formally certified Republican President-elect Donald Trump's November election victory over Democratic Vice President Kamala Harris, clearing the way for him to be sworn in on Jan. 20.

The certification of the election results on Monday in the 50 states and the District of Columbia was accomplished in a brief, formal ceremony during a joint session of the House of Representatives and Senate. Gotta say, it was icing on the cake, getting to watch Kackles having to officially certify her own loss.

Loved every minute of 'em having to slowly read off the results.

I have no idea how accurate this polling data is:
...
Research by pollster YouGov — its first study of voting intention since last summer’s general election swept Labour into office on a landslide — put Starmer’s government on 26 percent of the vote, only a point clear of the populist outfit on 25 percent.

The Conservatives, who left office last summer after 14 years in power, were pushed into third place by Reform with 22 percent of public support.
...
According to YouGov, Labour has shed 7 percent of its 2024 voters to the center-left Liberal Democrats, 6 percent to the Greens on the left, 5 percent to Reform UK on the right, and 4 percent to the Tories.

1. It's time to explain exactly what happened on Election Day 2024 to stop the steal.

This will be a very long thread.

It involves quite a few people over 4 years.

A dozen sources.

We must begin just after the rigged 2020 election.

2. Let's begin the story in December 2020.

Why? Because President Trump wanted election fraud investigated.

He told his team to hire someone to discover the truth about the voting machines.

Multiple sources tell me an ex-CIA investigator was hired for the job.

3. That investigator reported that claims of election fraud were overblown.

Some DOJ lawyers also wanted election fraud investigated.

Those efforts were blocked by AG Bill Barr's staff including Barr's CoS Will Levi.

Levi threatened to quit if any cases were launched.

4. Also in Dec 2020, a group of NatSec analysts briefed the White House that enough evidence of election fraud existed to launch a full USG investigation.

In Jan 2021, several GOP Senators were briefed as well.

Neither the WH nor the Senators authorized the investigation.

5. A few people tried to alert President Trump about the NatSec analyst briefing and the need for a full investigation in late 2020 but those efforts were blocked by WH Counsel Pat Cipollone - according to two sources.

Cipollone joined Bill Barr's law firm on Jan 17, 2024.

6. Chris Krebs, the head of a small agency called CISA (which is inside DHS) sent out a press release in late 2020 claiming the 2020 election “...was the most secure in American history."

Krebs was not a cybersecurity expert.

Who hired him?

The head of DHS: Chad Wolf.

7. Krebs was hired because he was Chad Wolf's close friend. He worked at CISA coordinating with leftwing orgs like Democracy Works to "prepare" for the 2020 election.

Trump fired Krebs a week after he dismissed Defense Secretary Mark Esper.

Funding our own demise

🚨REPORT: NGOs EMERGE AS "SHADOW GOVERNMENT" WITH 55,000 ORGANIZATIONS

Fractal technology maps previously hidden connections between 55,000 liberal NGOs, revealing how tax dollars allegedly flow through major institutions like Vanguard and Morgan Stanley to groups like the Chinese Progressive Association.

This breakthrough tracking system can now monitor "every dollar going to every NGO," exposing intricate funding webs that traditional tech couldn't detect.

Example: Black Voters Matter Fund's $4M distribution network was invisible until quantum mapping revealed dozens of subsidiary organizations.

The unprecedented mapping reveals a previously hidden web of financial relationships.

Pulitzer Prize Committee Loses Motion in Trump Defamation Suit, Must Provide Discovery Documents

By Brad Slager | 2:43 PM on February 05, 2025
A Florida court recently handed down a ruling that the board of the Pulitzer Prize organization must provide internal communications for the discovery phase in the lawsuit brought by President Donald Trump against them. He is suing the Pulitzer Prize Committee over its awarding its top prize to the New York Times and Washington Post for their combined coverage of the Russian collusion storyline that dominated the news for years.

In a recent motion filed by the lawyers for the Pulitzer Prize board members, they sought to get a Protective Order Governing Discovery to prevent the requirement that internal documents be given to the court. Judge Robert L. Pegg, in the Circuit Court of Okeechobee County, ruled against this motion. “The rule requires 'an affirmative showing of annoyance, embarrassment, oppression, or undue burden or expense' from such party or person… Defendants have failed to meet this requirement.”
