When your name is on the bill you sponsored, it is you who is given credit for writing it.

If his aide wrote it, he shoulda checked it before putting his name at the bottom of it.


The fact that it's been enacted, and the names redacted, and there's been no firings in his office over it, tells me he knew exactly what was in it.



If when you were in school you had paid me to do your homework, and I put a bunch of stuff in your homework that made you look silly, and you didn't proofread it before signing it and turning it in as your own work, would you still employ me as your homework do-er?

Yes, he bears responsibility. Not unlike so many other dumb moves made by so many other duped politicos - Shrub, Trump, others before them. Trump got sold a bill of goods with the Jab (maybe; it's starting to look like maybe that's moar complicated...but that's off topic). Shrub got sold on Iraq-Afghanistan. WEAPONS-UH-MASS-DESTRUCTION!!.

So. He, Massie, made a beginner's blunder.

That doesn't mean he's shifted on convictions.
 
What it all means is that no one is prefect.

Also, he's not exactly a beginner at being in Congress.

But for him to beat the Moar-War lobby, the AIPAC steamroller, the CIA...which will block ANYONE who they don't have a strong leash on...things have to change.

Like Ron Paul. The demonization against him was strong enough, a lot of it had ME duped. I had believed the mediuh characterization of him as an unpleasant curmudgeon. Only recent interviews show a civil, cheerful Happy Warrior for free-market economics.

Nonetheless, he didn't have it in his skill-set to overcome the smear campaign.

That's also why Massie wouldn't be effective, returning to the House, to the Senate, or the Big Chair.

He'd get Impeachments that would outnumber those of Trump.
 
I want him to run up the AIPAC bill whenever possible...

If you see your spouse on a live TV stage (or anywhere for that matter) and you suddenly fear they have been drugged or are having a stroke, you go to their aid.

Not wait until it's over and walk out with a big smile and talk to your spouse as though they are a child by saying you are so proud of them for answering all of the questions.

For her to have commended his debate performance at the time that she now says that she was in fear that her beloved spouse was having an emergency situation, shows that it is a flat out lie.

She's just as evil, IMHO - look at who she surrounded the WH with; look at all the mincing queers, putting on programs, probably shaping agendas - remember, Pedo Joe was immersed in the intricate politics of ice cream. SOMEONE was doing what thinking was being done; and she probably did a large part of it.

Speaking of this, there was word prior to the debate that the plan was to put him out there with the intent that he WOULD bomb so that the party could replace him without having to admit the truth of having covered up his declining mental condition.

That's why at a time when his public activities were limited to earlier in the day, they (dnc and his campaign people) agreed to such a late start time for the debate.

It's widely known that dementia patients tend to be less cognitively aware later in the day.

Ie: they didn't want to admit they had been covering up his mental decline.
.....and still don't. Hence all the lies at the time about being surprised by his performance, and now this stroke BS they want us to believe.

There are so many layers of fixing, it's hard to keep track, much less be sure.

It's becoming plain that the Tech Bro's commendeered the election - FOR TRUMP. Because they, led by Musk, got into Trump's inner circle. We were sold the Miracle of DOGE. We were promised hi-tech deportations. And of course, that brilliant young man from Ohio - the white Barry Hussein, a man with no past but a very-obvious powerful sponsor.

Well, they got their power. What we're getting is privatized CBDCs ("Stablecoins" issued by political banks like JPMC) and tech-centers up the ying-yang. The authority to build these things was written into one of these Excretive Odors Trump signed - making all this part of National Defense. The citizens of Utah tried to block their 40-acre electronic Hellscape project from being built, and were told, there's no stopping it, it's a military issue.

So instead of an Open-Borders Woke Gender-Bender Hell, we're in a technocratic Fascist Surveillance World-Government Hell. What's the difference? Only who is in power. For the man on the street, both of them mean, loss of free movement and affordable necessities.

So, I'm not so convinced that the Dumbos were running a Grand Plan. Me, I think the Dumbos' brain-trust was with the Tech Bro's; and they jumped ship. Probably they didn't think they could push Cameltoe Hoe over the finish line.

...when they show you in graphic detail with a ton evidence what they were able to do with just FIVE counties - count'em...1, 2,3,4,5...FIVE COUNTIES out of over 3,000....

...flipping the outcome of the 2020 Presidential race from the real winner - who won by A LOT, by the way! - to the actual LOSER...

...our current election systems 'cross the fruited plain, from sea-to-shining-sea...WILL NOT SURVIVE THIS.

Dominion was sending in representatives all across the country to election precincts to wipe election data to cover up the stolen 2020 election.

Tina Peters knew there was fraud going on and exactly why she preserved the election logs before Dominion could come in and destroy it.

She was punished for saving and exposing the evidence of the stolen 2020 election, but now she is FREE. It's time to finish what we started and prosecute these crooked traitors.

At this juncture, any split among the Right will only serve to let the Dems stumble back into power.
.....and we all have seen the BS they bring.

Even with all Trump's negatives, both real and imagined, how is what the Dems have done and will do if given the chance, going to be better than what we've gotten with Trump?

Ok, they get along with Israel a little bit less, but in exchange we get millions of illegals every year, more dei, loaded SC, trans everything, more weaponization of gov against anything seen as not on the liberal side.
.....and too much other BS to list. Forum storage space couldn't hold all.

Plus, the Dem party is rapidly changing into a true socialist party. If anything represents an existential threat to the nation, it's letting actual socialists gain full control.
....and that's not hyperbole, in the least.


Split the Right and that's what we get. Ie: even worse people running things.
 
As far as elections go, I was disappointed, but not really surprised, to see this morning how many people in California actually seem to like the BS that their "leadership" has given them.

It's truly astounding that so many still blindly support people like Bass.

Heck, even the idiot council member who thought the election would be about bike lanes and who thinks it ok for the people's kids to have homeless encampments outside their homes and schools while she gets rid of them near her own home, has gotten like 20% of the vote so far.

It's almost as though there something in the water in CA that turns people stupid, to put up with such crap.

It's still cheaper than it should be if adjusted for inflation from 40 years ago.

I saw it for $3.80\gal earlier today. Adjusted for inflation from 1980 prices it should be almost $5\gal

We need structural change to lower the barriers to entry for 3rd parties, allow more competition and break the top down consolidation of power in the Dem and Rep parties. I am also an advocate for expanding the House so districts encompass the original 35K population limit. We need to make the swamp more accountable to the people.

Ok, sounds good, but how do we get that done? It requires the ones already there to make those changes. What's the chances of that happening?

We'd have better luck getting the law changed on congressional insider trading.
....and we both know hat even that ain't happening.

They aren't going to Enact any laws limiting their own power.

Ok, I thought you meant the building of them at all.

The provision about the States and data centers is not something I as a fan of, but I came into this with the full realization that Trump would do some things I don't like.
.....and with the alternative I would have gotten nothing that I like. With Trump I get some things I like. Some > none.

Three and a half mill, is a rounding error.

I have no control over the hellscape that the Social Engineers create - deliberately or intentionally.

I expect the whole world will be like sub-Sahara Africa, in a century. Not just in complexion or genetics - in terms of no order, no organized industry, no cleanliness, and endless mindless violence.
 
The only sort of "structural change" will disenfranchise the voters in favor of PARTIES - and create political instability.

Europe is a lesson there. In many of their Parliamentary systems, the voters vote for the Party slate. Out of a choice of a handful.

Seats are allocated according to Party percentages. What that means, right off, is that the seat-holder is obligated to the PARTY, not to the VOTER.

It also means no majority, almost always, in the legislature. So a "coalition government" must be formed. Typically it's formed by log-rolling...promising the fringe parties a few of what they want.

Like how the Greens have destroyed most of Europe - WITHOUT ever winning an election on it; WITHOUT broad support for ANY of it.

And these fringe parties often get greedy, and/or begin behaving like spoiled children - demanding moar and moar. VERY often that leads to a "collapse of the government" (loss of the coalition) and snap elections. Often drastically shifting policies - which sounds like it could be good, until you realize how intrusive European governments are in their subjects' lives.

I don't know how you'd get a multiparty system set up short of using this formula - and if we did, it will immediately be, not even tyranny by majority; but flat-out tyranny. By bureaucrats making personal or local political deals, obligating them to approve destructive, unpopular, costly government programs.
