Seat holders are already obligated to the party. That's the exact problem that has caused folks like Justin Amash and MTG to leave the House and Republican Freedom Caucus to shrivel to almost nothing. Even voting >90% of the time with the party isn't enough if the party gets sufficiently mad at you over your independent thought.

The Reagan-Mondale era of bipartisan Congressional deliberation is long dead. We're in the party polarization toilet swirl now.

Let us not forget it was the Dems who started that shit with all their false allegations against Trump.

Had the idiots not done that, the whole Trump era would be in the past by now.

If the Dems were in charge, we might not have this Iran shit goin' on, but gas would still be just as expensive as it is now. If not higher, because of their policies that are against using oil gas and coal.
.....and they'd be telling us how great it is.

The Dems (especially the socialist ones) are a much bigger problem than anything Trump has done or could even possibly do.

I'm not a fan of party rah rah BS, but to my recollection, the polarization swirl really started kicking into gear back in the Clinton years. The pendulum has swung back and forth and gotten increasingly stronger ever since.

Yes, I would agree that it got started around that time, although it's always been there to varying degrees. (things getting nastier in politics)

What I am talking about is the branding of political opponents as being evil, and Nazis, and an existential threat to the nation itself.

We did not see that Type of stuff until the Dems employed those tactics to attack and demonize Trump.
....and break the law to weaponize the justice system to go after him.

For all the complaints about Trump and the Republicans, nothing they've done has even come close to the illegal and despicable acts the Dems have stooped to.
.....and will stoop to if ever allowed to regain full control.

They get back in and load the SC with four more idiots like KBJ and you won't ever get another SC ruling you'll like.

That's not hyperbole, either. It's what they want to do.
