They clearly haven't, because had they done so, Iran woulda used 'em by now.

President Donald Trump said Saturday the United States will hold off on a planned military strike against Iran as Washington and Tehran work to quickly finalize a deal.

Donald Trump says he has cancelled strikes against Iran provided a deal was struck "rapidly" with the country.

In a post on Truth Social, the US president wrote that he had decided to "cancel the attack, subject to being able to rapidly make a DEAL" - which would include the immediate opening of the Strait of Hormuz and an end to "Iran's nuclear threat".

Trump said the decision had been taken alongside Israel. The announcement came amid US media reports that Washington might have been planning new, intense strikes on Iran over the weekend.


Tehran earlier accused the US of escalating tensions, saying any regional state co-operating with Washington would be "engulfed by the flames of war".

Its no great secret that Israel has a triad of nuclear weaponry. Gravity bombs are available for its F-15 S/E's, F-16's, and now F-35's. They have 50 F-35's and want to buy 25 more. On land they have IRBMs and even ICBMs "Jerichos"of a sophisticated nature which includes very good targeting tech and even MIRVed war head bus's. At sea its widely believed their Dolphin class attack submarines were outfitted by the Germans to allow the launching of long range Popeye Turbo cruise missiles armed with 2 stage H-bombs. A kind equal or superior to American Tomahawks.

They are suspected to have 90 to 400 warheads with the plutonium stockpiled to rapidly build more.

They are at least, so far, rational actors with their weapons. Countrys like Iran are irrational Death cults who are more then willing to take the hits the Jews could manage which would render the concept of Mutual Assured Destruction irrelevant. Groups like Hamas are even worse, which is why Israel is also suspected of developing neutron bombs and chemical weapons. When the worst thing that could happen to you is eternity banging 72 Virgins then "Death by atomic bombs" seems a small price to pay to wipe your enemy off the map.

And thats one thing I learned about Islam during my 18 mos there in the War Corp. Its a religion that always seems to need an enemy and if not the Jews it would just be someone else.

Exclusive-US Has Used 'Virtually All' of Its Long-Range Precision Missiles During Iran War, Sources Say​


NEW YORK/WASHINGTON, Aug 4 (Reuters) - The U.S. Army has used up much of its global stockpile of ⁠highly ⁠accurate long-range missiles during its five-month war with Iran, according to three people ⁠familiar with the data, raising concerns about the military's readiness for future conflicts.

The missiles are principally the Army's surface-to-surface weapons, known as Army Tactical Missile Systems (ATACMS) and Precision Strike Missiles (PrSM). The U.S. has used "virtually all" of these weapons, according to two of the sources.

The degree to which the military is running out of ATACMS and Precision Strike Missiles has not been previously reported.

They will always say that.

Trump's biggest mistake in all this was in allowing for backdoor communications that Tehran can publicly deny having.

What he should have done was to keep the pressure on and if they wanted to negotiate, they should have been made to publicly announce that they wanted to.

Stopping when he did only allowed them to regroup, rearm, and stall stall stall on the important points.
