Understanding the Hormuz blockade.

If the world economy doesn't collapse first, and how much does this cost us to maintain this big, beautiful, massive blockade from blockade runners.

Marco Rubio set to host direct, talks between Lebanon and Israel today.

No engagement at this level between the two sides since 1993.

Netanyahu reportedly approved talks on condition they serve as first steps toward a "peace" framework, similar to the Abraham Accords.

No commitment to halt strikes on Lebanon, only reported scaling back in Beirut.

South Lebanon still facing heavy attacks along the border.

Rubio is but a puppet with Netanyahu's dick tickling his tonsils, man shouldn't even be considered an American as he is just an Anchor Baby.

  • After the first six days, the war in Iran racked up costs of $11.3bn, according to the Pentagon.
  • But one academic believes the total cost will prove much higher, potentially reaching $1 trillion over the next decade.
  • Such outlays will exacerbate the proliferating U.S. fiscal deficit, says Professor Linda Bilmes.

China saying they have contracts with Iran and they will be using the strait to fulfill those contracts. I'm guessing the US will allow Chinese tankers to pass. No need to stat another war unless Israel demands it.

EXPOSED: Trump Names the Hidden War — Britain Has No Cards Left

Susan Kokinda argues that President Trump has “put the empire on notice” by exposing what she calls a decades-long British-run extortion system centered on the Strait of Hormuz. She says Trump moved to break the alleged protection racket by undermining Lloyd’s of London’s role in maritime insurance, pushing the U.S. to provide coverage, and enforcing an “all or none” approach to Iran’s oil sales. Kokinda highlights UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer declining to join an American blockade and claims Britain has lost control of the choke point. She details financial actions targeting Iranian money flows, including UAE arrests of IRGC-linked money changers, Treasury Secretary Bessent using Patriot Act Section 311 against a Zurich bank, and scrutiny of London-based crypto exchanges and Santander UK. She cites a UK military chief admitting Britain’s war planning has lapsed since the Cold War and links fuel disruptions and protests to the conflict, concluding Trump has forced a hidden imperial system into the open.

Iran Crumbles, Critics Scramble: Trump’s Long Game Leaves the Media Exposed | Victor Davis Hanson

We don't know what the ultimate prognosis of this war is, but if we take the long view, it's far more favorable to our interests than it is to our enemies.

The media’s 24-hour ragebait cycle can’t explain what’s actually unfolding in Iran. While critics swing wildly between calling Trump a “warmonger” and “weak,” the reality points to a regime that’s been militarily and strategically crippled.

Meanwhile, adversaries like Russia and China are feeling the ripple effects, and NATO’s cracks are on full display.

The long view tells a very different story—and it’s one the headlines won’t admit, argues Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In a Few Words.”

🚨🇷🇺🇪🇺 Putin's top economic envoy called this to the exact day...

On April 4th, @kadmitriev predicted the EU's last Hormuz shipments would arrive April 11th, bureaucrats would start panicking on April 13th, and reserves would run dry around April 20th.

It's April 14th. He's batting 1.000 so far.

The EU's response to a blockaded Strait and emptying fuel reserves?

Ursula von der Leyen telling Europeans the cheapest energy is the energy you don't use.

Dmitriev's argument is simple: Europe didn't get here because of the Iran war.

It got here because it sanctioned Russian energy after 2022 and never replaced it.

The Strait closing just pulled the trigger on a gun Europe loaded itself.
