Which is why the leftists are saying that math is racist, good grammar is racist, high SAT scores are racist, etc... All of it is completely laughable, of course. These people want to create generations of idiots. This is why children grauating from high schools are reading at 7th grade levels. And, yet, the teachers keep asking for mo' money.

I came to it as a result of writing care plans for those with serious medical problems who would require support of some kind following hospital release, and in the course of doing this in the 1980s, I found that the systems on which we all depend are fragile, if not inadequate.

PROVIDENCE, R.I. [Brown University] — The risk of firearm death in the U.S. is on the rise: in 2020, firearms became the leading cause of death for children, adolescents and young adults. Yet the risk is far from even — young men in some U.S. zip codes face disproportionately higher risks of firearm-related injuries and deaths.

To better understand the magnitude of the gun violence crisis and put it in perspective, researchers at Brown University and the University of Pennsylvania compared the risk of firearm-related death for young adult men living in the most violent areas in four major U.S. cities with the risks of combat death and injury faced by U.S. military personnel who served in Afghanistan and Iraq during active periods of war.

Language is perverted here. The problem is violence, and politics that prompt it, and if guns weren't available, the violence would be perpetuated with knives, swords, spears, rocks, hammers...

The gun as a tool works better than any of these other tools, but that's beside the point.
