This week, the United Nations Security Council failed to pass a draft proposal to form an independent investigative commission to look into the Nord Stream’s destruction. The proposal, submitted by Russia, would have required that the UN Secretary-General bring together a team of experts and international representatives to spearhead an investigation into the pipeline’s destruction, with a special focus on identifying the “perpetrators, sponsors, organizers and accomplices” responsible for the explosion.

Secret Team: The Nord Stream Pipeline Sabotage Revisited

APRIL 25, 2023 BY LFC NEWS 0 COMMENTS

Join us, as we take a deeper dive into the Nord Stream Pipeline sabotage story, and identifying the divers, the equipment, as well as those who benefitted from what many are calling ‘an act of war on European infrastructure’.

Following the very damning report entitled, “How America Took Out The Nord Stream Pipeline,” published on February 8th by the legendary investigative journalist Seymour Hersh, the US authorities are still not budging from their official denial, and refuse to admit any form of involvement with the explosion which damaged the Nord Stream pipelines on Sept 26th of last year. As a result, Nord Stream sabotage theories deepen as shreds of evidence and intelligence leaks surrounding the sabotage of the pipelines have provided more questions than answers, with the New York Times even admitting, “It may be in no one’s interest to reveal more.” Contrary to the mainstream media consensus of the ‘unsolved mystery’ hinting towards the tenuous official conspiracy theory that Russia is somehow guilty of sabotaging its own pipeline project, we believe it’s very much in the public interest to expand on Hersh’s story by revealing more important details surrounding this top secret military operation carried out on the ocean floor of the Baltic Sea.

Despite their proximity to the event question, and being a primary stakeholder in the Nord Stream pipeline project, the German government has done little if anything in terms of a serious investigation into the unprecedented attack, with the German officials serving us a remake of the 9/11 story, albiet with a James Bond feel to it, involving fake Bulgarian passports and some trace of explosives on a 50-foot pleasure craft called ‘The Andromeda’. In his follow-up piece entitled, The Cover-up, published on March 22nd, Hersh maintains this was a desperate cover story conjured by US intelligence in order to deflect from his bombshell revelations. According to the Germans, six men are believed to have planted C4 explosives on the seabed at a depth of 262 feet who, and when detonated, this triggered a blast registering 2.5 on the Richter scale. I am confident Hollywood will take full advantage of this compelling plot in combination with the even more spectacular claim from a US intelligence report suggesting that a ‘rogue’ pro-Ukrainian group carried out the attack on the Nord Stream pipelines. A blockbuster in the making, for sure.

COPENHAGEN, May 3 (Reuters) – Three Russian navy ships were observed in the Baltic Sea in the area of the Nord Stream pipeline blasts prior to the sabotage that halted Russian gas flows to Europe in September last year, an investigation by four Nordic broadcasters has found.

The Russian navy ships were traced using satellite images and intercepted radio communication from the Russian fleet, the four broadcasters, Denmark’s DR, Norway’s NRK, Sweden’s SVT and Finland’s Yle, said.

This will be the official ChatGPT answer to the who done it. I am this close to betting an SAE on it.

Here's an interesting article. Could more sabotage be coming? Prelude to WWIII?

From the link:

A senior NATO official has confirmed reports that Russia is using research vessels and covert "spy ship" trawlers to survey subsea cables and pipelines in Western Europe, potentially as a prelude to a future attack.

This week, NATO assistant secretary general for intelligence David Cattler told Politico and other outlets that Russia is actively engaged in mapping out civilian infrastructure in NATO countries, including underwater assets. He described the possibility of a Russian attack as a "significant risk," and noted that Moscow has all the assets it needs to carry out a strike if it wants to retaliate for Western support for Ukraine.

...
German investigators have now turned their attention to the Andromeda - a yacht hired by a Polish company from the north German port of Rostock just weeks before the explosions were carried out.

Andromeda is said to have docked in the marina of Christianso, a tiny Danish island northeast of Bornholm and in close proximity to where the three bombs went off, in the days leading up to the sabotage.

The yacht was found with traces of 'military-grade and underwater-deployable' explosives.

The theory suggests that five men and a woman arrived in Germany using fake Bulgarian and Romanian passports before using the yacht as a base to deploy trained divers to plant the bombs around 70m below sea level.

German investigators argue the attacks would have required aid from state security services and claim to have found evidence that could implicate Ukraine, according to the Süddeutsche Zeitung newspaper.

The complex trail is said to lead to a shell company, a travel bureau, which was created by two Ukrainians in Warsaw.
...
Despite these theories , security analysts have raised doubts over how such a complex operation could have been carried out by a group on a small yacht without a submarine.
...

It seems like this is going to be another historical event that never gets a definitive conclusion IMO.

WASHINGTON, June 6 (Reuters) - The United States learned of a Ukrainian plan to attack the Nord Stream natural gas pipelines three months before they were damaged last September by underwater explosions, The Washington Post reported on Tuesday, citing leaked information posted online.

The CIA learned last June, through a European spy agency, that a six-person team of Ukrainian special operations forces intended to blow up the Russia-to-Germany project, the newspaper reported.

"learned". yeah, that word incurs less culpability than "planned" or "facilitated".

The governments of Germany, Denmark and Sweden have issued a formal update on their separate Nord Stream blast investigations, and the German line of inquiry continues to focus on a suspicious sailing yacht that may have been used to transport saboteurs to the scene.

What about the photo showing Putin's passport floating in the area?

Here's an interesting read:

German investigators would really like to talk to the Ukrainian man living in a single-family home in the northwest of Kyiv. His name is Rustem A., a 41-year-old businessman who owns several companies, including a pig farm and a heat pump manufacturer. Specifically, the Germans want to ask Rustem A. about an attack that shocked the world one year ago. On September 26, 2022, perpetrators blew up the Nord Stream 1 and 2 natural gas pipelines running along the floor of the Baltic Sea. The authorities in Germany think Rustem A. might be able to tell them a few things about the attack.

In partnership with the Washington Post, German outlet Der Spiegel claims that it has uncovered evidence linking a well-known Ukrainian intelligence operative with the attacks on Russia's Nord Stream 2 pipeline complex last year.

The massive underwater attack ruptured three out of the four pipelines in the network, greatly reducing the odds that Russia's subsea gas deliveries to Germany would ever be revived at full scale. The suspects have never been identified by Western investigators, at least not in a public forum.

^^^^ then we should cut all aid to Ukraine. Otherwise we'd be supporting those that commit illegal acts and are responsible for an ecological disaster.

Sweden ends Nord Stream sabotage probe, hands evidence to Germany

February 7, 2024 6:29 AM EST

  • Sweden says no evidence its citizens involved in blasts
  • Plans to hand information it has gathered over to Germany
  • Russia says it is watching to see what Germany does
STOCKHOLM, Feb 7 (Reuters) - Sweden on Wednesday dropped its investigation into the explosions in 2022 on Nord Stream pipelines carrying Russian gas to Germany, saying it lacked jurisdiction in the case but had handed evidence it had uncovered over to German investigators.

The multi-billion dollar Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines transporting the gas under the Baltic Sea were ruptured by a series of blasts in the Swedish and Danish economic zones in September 2022, releasing vast amounts of methane into the air.

Denmark ends probe into 'deliberate' Nord Stream pipeline blasts

  • Denmark concludes Nord Stream explosion investigation
  • Police say explosions were deliberate sabotage
  • But evidence insufficient to pursue criminal case
  • Kremlin calls investigation situation 'absurd'
COPENHAGEN, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Denmark has dropped its investigation into the explosions in 2022 on the Nord Stream pipelines carrying Russian gas to Germany, police said on Monday, becoming the second nation to do so after Sweden closed its own inquiry.

The multi-billion dollar Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines transporting gas under the Baltic Sea were ruptured by a series of blasts in the Swedish and Danish economic zones in September 2022, releasing vast amounts of methane into the air.

The blasts occurred seven months after Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, which triggered a wide range of Western economic and financial sanctions against Moscow.

"The investigation has led the authorities to conclude that there was deliberate sabotage of the gas pipelines. However, the assessment is that there are not sufficient grounds to pursue a criminal case in Denmark," a Copenhagen police statement said.
