Your cat appreciates Independence Day better than many politicians. Maybe felines should not be excluded from the polls. We have all seen evidence of canines in voter rolls. One side may say that canine voters will never elect a feline, but maybe the opposite is also valid.

Feline versus canine in the vote? Which is the better choice?
I expect the result will be better than puppet-1 versus puppet-2.
Maybe "expect" is too strong a word. Change it to "hope" instead.
 


If we were allowed to elect dogs to office, I would not hesitate to vote for mine. Who would dare to give her any crap?

Sixty cats and kittens have now been rescued from an abandoned sailboat that was found anchored off a beach in Tacoma.
After nearly a week spent locating and carefully collecting each cat from the vessel, the police department reported Tuesday that officers and Tacoma Animal Control crews had finally removed the last one.
While we believe we have safely removed all of the cats from the boat, as any cat owner knows, cats are exceptionally good at hiding.
 
Never gonna find a home for those.

Maybe somewhere, someone with a family-run wrecking yard, can take them in, just put catfood out in various places, every day. Junkyards are havens for rats - all that tasty wiring, and a lot of cars are impounded or abandoned with food and even groceries still inside. Sudden repossessions outside Wally World, and then no one bids on the car at auction.

Otherwise, those cats aren't gonna make it.

But who in their right mind is gonna put cats on a BOAT? Cats hate water. My gawd, mass terror all over...
