I have bought some dozens of sheets of 7/16 OSB that apparently came from Canada. Maybe some of my 2x6 lumber came from Canada, but I don't know. I am pretty sure my 3/4" and 5/8" plywood came from the US. So if I could go back 15 years and remove all Canadian products from my building, I don't think it would have disturbed me.
Today, I won't mind the price difference, if any. Canada, go fuck yourself! I don't need your wood, I don't need your oil, I don't need your beer. You have nothing else to offer me, and you have spend the last decade behaving like a useless and retarded uncle that the family has been reluctant to send away.
