... and war. From what I understand, there is a decent amount of silver in every modern missile. I assume there is probably a good bit in most high end electronic equipment (drones, mobile radar, jets, tanks, etc.).
 
Gold flies Silver would eventually catch a bid regardless of industrial uses. Always been that way.
