I went down an internet rabbit hole and found this:

It looks like the report/analysis is based upon data through 2018. As it's a 6th edition, perhaps they will update it at some point.

Poor math. Of course low income people pay a higher burden. It's simple math. $10 to a poor person is much more significant than to a Rich person. It's also a terrible thing to look at to make any policy.

From the article,

"The nation’s longstanding system of unequal opportunities to access education, housing, jobs and capital, and other economic resources has resulted in a stark wealth gap between white families and most communities of color. Median wealth among black families is 10 times less than median wealth among white families. On average, black families earn $28,000 less in income every year than white families and Latino families earn nearly $18,000 less per year than their white counterparts."

The white family verse black family statistic is wrong, in fact all these income statistics that classify jewish people as white are now wrong. By their own admission (ask whoopi goldberg and ari emanuel) Jewish people do not consider themselves white anymore in fact they classify themselves as victims of white racism. So their incomes have to now be seperated from whites in these studies that try to inflate white/black income disparities to increase racial tensions.

From taxes to racism in record time.

I thought it was interesting to see how different states with different taxing structures compare to each other in terms of tax burden for different income levels. YMMV.

What you posted was emphasizing race.

The rest is promoting socialism. ”Equality/Equity” over merit or ”meritocracy.”

And stop pretending to “lean libertarian.”

I thought it was interesting that the article used race to pit one group of people against another group of people with false statistics.

Read the entire article, really didn't see any leanings toward socialism. The conclusion basically talked about looking towards the possibility of states looking into extending a helping hand to the poorest. Just my take.

BTW..........your "location" is a working link to a computer technology biz in Canada. Yours?

It feels like the ITEP would support a progressive price system where the "poor" would pay less for food, gas, airline tickets, new sneakers, etc.
Because earners are bad.

I have no idea who that group is, nor do I care. It took two seconds to see that they have a Communist agenda and therefore not worth reading any more.
