That's actually good.

Because if it were done 100% with private funds, it would make it easy for a dem to tear it down as soon as one happens to get elected.

It would only have cost the donors, not the taxpayers.

This way, if some public monies are involved, it'll be a lot harder to justify doing that.

Using public money, the Dems will be stuck with a Trump ballroom.

The Dems seem to have no problem justify the strangest shit imaginable. Some Repukes too. As far as the ballroom goes I say spend away. What's a few less Somali millionaires?

To be fair, he's saying WHEN driving downhill, to take advantage of the fact and ease up on the gas.

We all know that driving habits can greatly impact the gas mileage one's car gets.
How you gonna do that. There's speed limits - go too slow and you get road-ragers trying to brake-check you, or maybe shoot you. Or if they're moron rednecks, they'll have their six-figure diesel truck set up to "roll coal." That black plume gets in your ventilation system, it'll make you gag. And it's oily.

Go too fast and you become part of Municipal Revenue Enhancement.

And COASTING is illegal. With a manual gearbox, popping it into neutral or just standing on the clutch, is nothing; but almost nobody has a manual, now. Coasting with an automatic is both very-hard on the multi-clutch-pack (or CVT) transmission, especially when you put it back into gear...and illegal. AND you might miss going into D once again, getting it into L or R. With these whacked-out controls on these goofy, shitty new cars.

If that was really Trump's account, he had some intern MOCKING him with that ridiculous post. But I'm not surprised - Trump can't read people to hire good ones, never could; and he's worse at it now that he's Jabbed silly or senile.

A ballroom is an empty space that you can turn into office cubicles whenever you need them. It appears this really is some kind of underground bunker in case of war or civil unrest though....
So? The White house already has other underground "features". What's a few more?

Had Trump been honest about it, and not tried lying, nobody would have cared.
That ballroom cover up and supposedly private funding bullshit just set off alarms.

Well I would have assumed it would have underground "features". As I said, the rest of the White House has underground "stuff". Why wouldn't a new "East Wing" have it too?
......and some type of Ballroom is in fact needed. Kinda silly to have to call around lookin' for a room every time a potus (of either party) is havin' people over for dinner.

The East Room was perfectly fine... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Room

Which "MAGA evangelical leaders"?

That satanic b!tch Paula White?

THIS is how I know Trump is senile. ANYONE with a room-temperature IQ, who's not surrounded by the hustlers she runs as her "church," can SEE she's not only not of God but not of good and only in there to fleece what flock she can grab.

Had Trump cozied up to Franklin Graham - who himself is corrupt - it would be bad enough, but this woman makes Rex Humbard and Joel Osteen look pious.

Trump is a lost cause. I blame the neurotoxin Jab for what he is today, but we'll never know.

Since they were well maintained, you could see them keeping pedestrians safer.

I don't think they were well-maintained, I think people just refused to walk on them, so they never saw any wear. I know that I would rather jaywalk than cross on the fairy stripe. Hell, I saw a video of a police horse refusing to step on one. I did enjoy the burnout videos, however. I found myself wishing my town council were retarded enough to put one in my town so I could "decorate" it with rubber, but in my town something like that wouldn't last the night. The line of pickup trucks waiting to burn rubber on it would stretch from the Food Lion all the way down to the Dairy Queen.

How about a tour..........lmao (hysterical)

If all the queers, twinks, and bull dykes want to move to Philadelphia, I say more power to them. I'm from Pennsylvania and we've been trying to give Phili away to New Jersey for as long as I can remember. Jersey won't take it and, if you've ever been to New Jersey, that's saying something. Philadelphia is the butthole of Pennsylvania. Corrupt, crime ridden, filthy, and completely downtrodden - it makes Mos Eisley look bucolic. I pity people who are forced to live there.

I don't take my political posts too seriously. Is what it is............nothing I can do about it. What's gonna happen will happen. I think we're kinda watching the end of the empire come about in real time.

Edit: You're pretty lucky. Live on a nice spread, don't have too much to worry about. A lot of people are kinda stuck where they are and most are apolitical. Just trying to survive while our good sheppards are screwing us every way but loose. And it's not R's or D's...........they are all in it together.

I agree with your last sentence. Very few good guys. Probably less than ten.

Those fans of Firefly will remember the Jaynestown episode where they see a statue of Jayne.
Simon, the doctor says, "This must be what going mad feels like."

Paula may be insane.

Anyone fooled by that, is too stupid to live free.

I recall a discussion online, about seven years ago, talking about the collapse of the Trinity Broadcast Network. A lot of it was about sex - Jeffy Epstein's kind of sex, sex with high-school interns, which they recruited through their network of Elmer Gantry types in small towns.

But one woman who was in that, and who was being groomed to be another Divinely Inspired preacheress, spoke of how they'd teach them to just grunt and gargle like that she-devil did above. An involved act; and how far one of the Chosen teens went, depended on how good he or she was.

Not unlike Rev'rund Al Sharptongue.

It's sad. And scary. What else is this profane b!tch gonna tell The Donald to do? Nuke Russia, because the Rus are part of the empire of Satan?...from what I've heard said by some Biblical Prophesy preachers...

That's just about every major American city since the Great Society and "Civil Rights" agitators did their thing, 60 years ago.

I was in Philly about two months, in the early 1990s - apart from horrific parking in most places, I didn't find it that bad. Of course I wasn't in the 'hood - our lodging was in a western suburb; the corporate offices were on Market Street. We were in training and orientation for Conrail - they centralized that aspect; everyone learned about trains right there in their controlled environment. Then of course we'd go back to Buffalo or Indianapolis or St. Louis and un-learn it all.

But, it was no worse than most other Eastern cities of the time. I remember walking about five miles from a Park-N-Ride lot of some sort, to Independence Hall.

Trump knows his days are numbered — and has one last indignity planned | Opinion

It happened in a college class in the late 1970s, or what I like to recall as The Stoned Age.

Our math professor gave the students an option: write a term paper or – as an alternative – gather all the students in the class together (there were 26) and collectively make a billion chicken scratches on pieces of paper. If we could successfully pull it off, we’d all get an A.

Take this fwiw and dyodd (i.e. make of it what you will)

The gods want WAR. The Fourth Turning cannot be escaped.

As one wise man wrote, in a wise book claimed to be divine revelation..."Put not your faith in princes."

Well we put our faith in the Golden Gollum of Greatness; and what we got was an ersatz Dementia Joe.

There's a lesson in here, somewhere. But, me being a Deist, I cannot quite figure it out. Should we all just go sacrifice ourselves?

Trump struggles to shake ballroom backlash: 'We don't have the money'

Support for $1 billion in new security upgrades at the White House is cratering among Republicans over President Donald Trump’s ballroom.

Holdouts in both chambers span across the ideological spectrum, from centrists to fiscal hawks. Some are even demanding that the administration produce a more detailed accounting of how a portion of the federal funds would be spent on a ballroom that Trump has long promised would be fully paid through private donations and his own money.

The ballroom itself has donations.

It's all the security stuff that goes with it that the extra money is for. They aren't legally permitted to accept donations or gifts to pay for that stuff.

According to Massie, the money is coming from billionaires...EPSTEIN billionaires.

Buying...what they bought. Zero prosecutions.

Change my mind.

We can't take care of our poor...we shouldn't take care of our billionaire president.

How do ya take care of 'em?

Just give 'em money? Give 'em a house?

What do you give 'em that doesn't result in them becoming a ward of the State?

IMHO, better to help the rich be able to create more jobs and open more business by getting gov out of the way. The loony left just want to put up barriers to any of that.

You know, real capitalism. Create jobs so more people can earn their own money as opposed to only looking to gov for handouts.

We can't take care of our poor...
I am not rich. But I am a software and hardware developer. I have some ideas for helping our future farmers with new devices and technology to do better.

How can I help the poor?
Please give me an answer and I will try to develop a solution to help them.
Maybe I will fail. Maybe I am not the one to give the solution. But I will try.

Please respond with actual and positive measures that I can take to help the poor.
My imagination is limited, so I need your specific input. What should I do?

The Dems seem to have no problem justify the strangest shit imaginable. Some Repukes too. As far as the ballroom goes I say spend away. What's a few less Somali millionaires?
Problem is, he isn't cutting off the Somalis or israelis, this in addition too...
