When you step back and look at the big picture you have both sides pointing fingers at each other while necessary peeps in important positions go without pay. Needy peeps go without food and medical care. All the while the peeps who are causing this bullshit are being paid, buying all the food they want and getting top notch medical care and playing the blame game, all on the backs of the taxpayers they're shitting on. WTF?!?!?!

Funny thing...........this madness doesn't happen anywhere else in the industrialized world, just here.
 
If you are working for the government, you are lucky to afford an old Camry, my group wasn't highly paid...Crown Vics where also a good choice.

"Both sides", yea right. lol

Only one side is holding the nation hostage because they can't tack on $1.4T in new spending to the CR.

All the CR does is continue spending at currently agreed on levels. The dems are the clear problem, this time.

Because the rest of the world, Russia and China excepted, are small duchies that evolved (and were recreated by the Allies) into parliamentary democracies.

Socialism/collectivism works to some extent in small groups. Classic example is the New England Town Meeting. Every interested person attends and has a say.

Try that in Lost Angles.

ALSO, they require a homogenous population, with at least the same cultural values. If everyone in your county is brought up on hard work, you can get things done. The Mormons in Utah were such a group. The state logo is the beehive - all working together in a hostile land.

What happens when you get Free Riders who care nothing for contributing, who are just there to live off you and your neighbors? Everyone from these non-Engrish-Spreakers who want Moar Free, to the geto 'groids who are threatening people with jobs (white people, we'll soon see) because they no gettin dere Foo Stamms.

Collectivism in Canada's medical system ALMOST worked for a time. Does it work with the VA hospital system?

I'd rather just have a system that contracts private hospitals to PAY providers - letting me have some choice, instead of quacks of marginal competence. The kind who believe in The Jab and Face Diapers.

With all the Joosteria out there...do you WANT them moving into your WASP suburb, or rural county? Or staying with their own - which is how things have worked, successfully, for most of America's history. Presbyterians in Boston; Jews in New York; Quakers in Pennsylvania. Lutherans in Ohio and Mormons in Utah. What's wrong with that?
