Who knew they would allow a word with no vowels... Really though too many options for top left took extra guesses.

Well, I am wrecked. Hadda get rid of three leaves. Each one was 18 feet long.
Came back... I suspect it is late enuf in the day to point out (spoiler alert) that immediately I had "P R I _ E" on the upper right word. Went through FOUR coin flip guesses: D Z M C
And then I had ONE chance left to find the cheatiest (eg: no fargin vowels!!) word, in order to complete a high score record of 29! <-- Jeez.

You have just got to hate a language that has a meh sometimes vowel. English has so many exceptions and fluff words its incredible.

Got the NYT Wordle on guess 4 today. After doing these for awhile it's better to get the consonants. Vowels will come naturally with most of your guesses. I suppose that's why Wheel of Fortune gives them away.

I need a better starter word than "party" <-- One advantage is that when there is a "y" in the hidden word, it will show up in the green at the end position.
But having used it a lot, I note it ain't enuf for me to break 20 on Quordle. Any good ideas for starters?

I don't worry about the total score on Quordle. I just try to finish the puzzle in 7 guesses. To that end, I use 3 starter words that expose 15 letters. I then try to guess the four words.
Here's two starter words that go well together. TRUMP and SYNCH. That's 10 letters and only 1 vowel and an FU to the NYT.
