Warsh is in-between a rock and a hard place.....he must raise rates or inflation crashes the economy.

A Central Bank head is, by definition, an agent of government or the power behind government, there to debase the currency.

A sound currency needs no Central Bank - a government Treasury will suffice. The Central Bank is there to control (debase) the currency as it transforms, or runs in, fiat...no real value in recognizable tangibles.
