A ruling striking down Trump's tariffs would be like rocket fuel for stocks

  • The Supreme Court's skepticism of Trump's tariffs gave stocks a boost on Wednesday.
  • Investors and strategists say a reversal would be a highly bullish development for the market.
  • Tariff-exposed consumer shares and automakers jumped in Wednesday trading.
What's the opposite of "Liberation Day"? The market might soon find out.

About seven months after the worst market meltdown since the pandemic brought on by the unveiling of Donald Trump's tariffs, investors are eyeing the possibility that the Supreme Court could wind back the clock.

Only because Wall Street profits on the selling out of America.

All Wall Street wants, is shot term gains.

A company fires American workers and moves production overseas? They become a hot commodity on Wall Street.

This is like day 38 or 39 of the shutdown. Let's take a look at things.

America
- insurance rates going up-up-and away
- peeps going hungry
- air travel is now a shit show
- all kinds of workers not getting paid
- the house Rs have been on a six week paid vaca

The rest of the industrialized world
- moving right along

That law hadn't ever been used for that purpose because all potus' since then have been ok with selling out the nation. Ie: they were Globalism first, America second.

They were ok with helping to build the rest of the World at our nations expense. that's why they always agreed that other nations could tariff our exports, but we weren't supposed to tariff or only have very low tariffs on their exports. (the so-called "free trade" bs)

Those tariff agreements are all rooted in the idea of helping the rest of the World rebuild after WW2. Well they are rebuilt. Time to fix it for real.

It's all the dems fault.

They are holding the gov and nation hostage over a trillion in wasteful spending. When the dems were in power and gov facing shutdown, the R's didn't pull this crap.

Trump rants at America’s beef producers after failed Argentine deal

Donald Trump suddenly has a big beef with, well, Big Beef.

After days of being hammered over his failure to lower prices on everyday grocery staples — and just about an hour after being pressed on the matter while sitting next to Hungary’s strongman leader Viktor Orban in the White House — the president unleashed on U.S. meat producers Friday, accusing them of artificially inflating prices and saying he’s ordered a Justice Department probe into the beef industry.

If Trump Has Raked in Trillions, Where Is the Money?

Apart from golfing, grifting, and gaudy gold decorations, Donald Trump has few passions. One of them is making up numbers. And, since he also likes superlatives, the bigger they are, the better (the one exception is his weight, which he routinely understates by a few dozen pounds).

While the figures Trump throws around are generally supposed to make him look good, there’s no real rhyme or reason behind his use of numbers.

For example, he is very specific when lying about his crowd sizes but vague when he is talking about the size of golf legend Arnold Palmer’s pecker.

Consistency isn’t important. On the campaign trail, Trump kept increasing the number of undocumented immigrants who had allegedly entered the US during Joe Biden’s term in office (from 10 million to 25 million). And, more recently, the number of “wars” the president claims to have stopped also keeps going up.

Dear Lord................maybe, just maybe this is true.

Trump says a tariff dividend of 'at least' $2,000 will be paid to most Americans

  • President Donald Trump on Sunday announced that a $2,000 tariff dividend would be paid to Americans.
  • In a post on Truth Social, Trump said the payments would be for all but "high income people."
  • The president also called critics of tariffs "fools" and said the US was taking in "trillions of dollars."
President Donald Trump on Sunday announced that a dividend payment of "at least" $2,000 would be paid to most Americans from US tariff revenues.
