Trump calls for immediate Ukraine ceasefire, Kyiv and Moscow cite conditions

PARIS (Reuters) -U.S. President-elect Donald Trump called on Sunday for an immediate ceasefire and negotiations between Ukraine and Russia to end "the madness", prompting Ukrainian President Volodymr Zelenskiy and the Kremlin to list their conditions.

Trump made his comments just hours after meeting Zelenskiy in Paris for their first face-to-face talks since Trump won last month's U.S. election. Trump has vowed to bring about a negotiated end to the conflict, but so far has not provided details.

Ukraine's secret testing site where veterans learn to build and fly drones

Dec 10, 2024 #bfbsforcesnews #forcesnews #ukraine

BFBS Forces News' Ukraine correspondent Simon Newton reports from a secret testing site outside Kyiv.
"This isn't even properly cold," Liza Bondarenko tells me, as we stand shivering in a field somewhere outside Kyiv.
In a past life, she and her husband had both worked in IT. "We were Dinkies," she says with a laugh, referring to the acronym for 'double income no kids'.

I cannot comment on the veracity of this article, but I think it's worth a read.

Politico ran the headline, “Ukraine Peace Plans Galore.”

Ukraine, Russia, and China each have a peace plan. Trump is developing one. The Alliance of Democracies has one. It looks a lot like Ukraine’s plan at first glance.

There’s talk of a Demilitarized Zone between Ukraine and Russia. There’s also the suggestion of imposing a frozen conflict. They seem like an open invitation for continued stress between the countries, not real peace.

More:

How about we tell the Russians we admit we overruled the elections (some of us are REALLY good at that) and got the conflict escalated.

BUT!! We are going to amend previous crap by ceasing all military supply to Ukraine, and recover the forbidden cluster bombs back, pack up and go home.

And Vlad and Don are gonna have a party in the Oval Office.

It would be great to announce a peace plan in Ukraine. Just think of how much money that country will suck up in the rebuilding.

A big feather in Trump's hat would be to have North and South Korea sign a peace agreement too.

📹 Liberation of Kurakhovo, DPR: Some children have been hidden in basements for months, says an ex-employee of the Kiev-controlled city administration

According to her, the Ukrainian authorities were forcibly evacuating children hidden by their parents. The police would find them and take them away.

🗣 "A lot of people were forcibly removed," she added.

On the illegitimate nature of the Kiev regime

I want to emphasise once again: we are not at war with the Ukrainian people, but with the regime, the neo-Nazi regime in Kiev that seized power back in 2014. This is how they came to power: it was a coup.

All the troubles faced by both Ukraine and Russia began after that bloody, anticonstitutional coup. This remains relevant today because those currently in power commit crimes every day, both against their own people and ours. In fact, the regime has lost all attributes of statehood, or is clearly in the process of losing them.

What do we mean when we speak of its illegitimate nature? Did they hold an election? No, they did not. Does their Constitution allow for the President’s term to be extended? No, it does not. The Constitution only permits the extension of the the representative body’s term, meaning the Rada, and that is all. Citing martial law as justification holds no weight: the Constitution provides no mechanism for extending the President’s mandate.

And where is the Supreme Court? Where is the Constitutional Court? These are legitimate questions. The Chairman of the Supreme Court is in prison: something that is conveniently ignored, left unsaid. But the fact remains: he has been thrown behind bars.

BREAKING: Bomb KILLS Russian general in Moscow | LiveNOW from FOX

Dec 17, 2024

A senior Russian general was killed Tuesday by a bomb hidden in a scooter outside his apartment building in Moscow, a day after Ukraine’s security service leveled criminal charges against him. A Ukrainian official said the service carried out the attack. Lt. Gen. Igor Kirillov, the chief of the military’s nuclear, biological and chemical protection forces, was killed as he left for his office. Kirillov’s assistant also died in the attack. Kirillov, 54, was under sanctions from several countries, including the U.K. and Canada, for his actions in Moscow’s war in Ukraine. On Monday, Ukraine’s Security Service, or SBU, opened a criminal investigation against him, accusing him of directing the use of banned chemical weapons.

Confused poster keeps posting propaganda....

There are NO NKoms in Ukraine!
That statement is perfectly true.

If this was a year or so ago.

Sadly, like my old chainsaw -- it is no longer operable.

How much health care for Americans could 64 billion buckeroos buy? What kind of raises to seniors' social security could it buy?

So, on his way out the door, as he's waving bye bye, Joey pulls this shit.

I reiterate... there are NO north Koreans in Russia/Ukraine fighting.

They all committed suicide by burning off their faces when approached by sheep dipped NATO operatives

Realistically, there will be N Korean military personnel keenly watching how modern warfare works and if N Koreans were to volunteer to join in the fighting, I see no reason why they would be refused . There’s brits and yanks who have chosen to join Russia…..

How can you be sure of this?

I realize that there's all sorts of bullshit and disinfo about what's going on there, but I don't think that all the sources I use are into that. They have all said the same thing. It's military peeps for oil.

American Thinker: Europe now has no more corrupt country than Ukraine

31 December 2024, 20:14

For the third consecutive year, Ukraine has been grappling with the repercussions of an ongoing war, seeking ways to sustain and operate all governmental institutions while relying heavily on international aid. Additionally, as was to be expected, within the Ukrainian government, there are individuals who are still attempting to profit amid a substantial budget shortfall.

The article proceeds to review in some detail the activities of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (“SPFU”), as well as certain individuals, focusing on Rustem Umerov, Ukrainian Minister of Defense. We encourage you to read the full article to learn more.

The article concludes:

Without a doubt, these problems will raise questions for the new US administration. Donald Trump, who wonders why Washington should sponsor the Ukrainian war, will insist that Ukraine promote American interests. Ukraine’s chronic problems of corruption and nepotism, along with politicians’ and bureaucrats’ focus on their own well-being, rather than that of the state for which they work, suggest that continued US-Ukraine cooperation will bring nothing but financial losses to America.

We hope that these questions really interest President-elect Donald Trump, as we are sure they interest American taxpayers.

Because one must be a Russian citizen to serve in their military!

and according to GROK:

In Russia, military service is not open to just anyone; there are specific eligibility criteria and obligations that apply:
  • Compulsory Service: Russian male citizens between the ages of 18 and 30 are subject to compulsory military service for a duration of one year, although there are exceptions for health, education, and other reasons. This is known as conscription or the draft.

  • Contract Service: For those beyond the conscription age or for foreigners, serving in Russia's military can be on a contractual basis. Foreign citizens can join the Russian military under certain conditions:
    • They must speak Russian well enough to serve.
  • They should not have a criminal record or be involved in any legal issues.
  • The first contract with the Russian Armed Forces is typically for five years, with benefits like housing, health insurance, and the possibility of obtaining Russian citizenship after service.

Now ask yourself how many Norcoms speak Russian? 1000? 10,000??

Russia and N Korea just entered into a mutual defence agreement where each will come to the aid of the other if their country is attacked by others.
Ukraine ( actually NATO) ticked this box by invading Russia in the Kursk offensive .
The north Koreans actually want their soldiers to have modern battle experience and offered to assist
Russia has enough soldiers as a result of some serious financial incentives though.
There’s speculation that Russian speaking norks are at least on the ground watching closely but apparently it’s very difficult to run a war with a group that doesn’t speak Russian or have Russian army training on current Russia weapon systems …..

It’s probable that nato is using the idea to persuade South Korea to send some of their soldiers and more weapons and ammo …..

and you will notice despite all the claims that there are Norcoms on the battlefield there has been no photo evidence proving such.

Not to mention that Russia has one of the most diverse populations in the world. Mongols look Korean.

It's also been 'reported' that the reason there are no photos is because the Russians use acid to disfigure the NK's faces. Now how stupid do they think we really are?

It's been reported that 30K Russians join the military every month.

The War of Lies

Zelensky accused of lying after New Year's address .

He spoke about new developments in the Ukrainian military-industrial complex, including the Sapsan missile systems.

Internet users discovered literally 10 minutes later that the Ukrainian weapons were in fact South Korean missiles.

Kiev PR people took footage of the Hyunmoo-2A complex tests from the Korea Defense Blog YouTube channel, published six years ago

🤪 Illegitimate since May, Zelensky says yet to decide whether to run for reelection

"I do not know how the [conflict in Ukraine] will end. If I do more than I can, then maybe I will be looking on that decision [to run for reelection] more positively. This is not my priority nor goal right now," Volodymyr Zelensky told Ukrainian media on Thursday.

The presidential term of Zelensky technically expired on May 20, 2024. Ukraine was due to hold a presidential election on March 31, but it was delayed due to the ongoing martial law amid the military conflict with Russia.
