Can Trump himself, basically alone, buck this trend? I don't think so.
We shall see...

Lindsey was demanding boots on the ground in Iran.

Trump played along with the deep state (Lindsey) and bombed Iran's nuke facilities and there were no boots to be had.

Zelenskyy rejects Trump’s proposal that Ukraine could swap territories with Russia

Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelenskyy defiantly declared Saturday that his countrymen “will not give their land to occupiers,” after President Donald Trump suggested that a peace deal would include some “swapping” of territories with Russia.

“The answer to Ukraine’s territorial question is already in the constitution of Ukraine,” Zelenskyy said in a message on Telegram early Saturday. “No one will and no one can deviate from it. Ukrainians will not give their land to the occupier.”

His comments came after Trump announced on Truth Social that a long-awaited meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin had been scheduled for next Friday in Alaska.

Who's feeding the little pervert his answers? I doubt he KNEW there was a Ukrainian constitution, much less read it...studied it.

There won't be peace until Russia or China nuke Washington, and the well-paid Boltonites and Nulandians are all lying dead in the ruins of their Georgetown townhouses.

Anchorage managed to get ranked choice and mail-in voting only. One can imagine how the pro-Ukraine/palestine/LGBTQ/globalwarming/fossilfuel group would act.
But, Anchorage is a small town and the influx of outsiders yesterday was very noticeable. That includes the professional protesters.

Trump hails meeting with Putin as ‘productive’ after talks over Ukraine fail to reach a breakthrough

  • The much-anticipated high-stakes summit did not result in a breakthrough.
  • Putin proposed another meeting in Moscow.
  • Trump to update Ukraine and NATO on discussions.
The high-stakes summit on Friday between U.S. President Donald Trump and Russia’s Vladimir Putin did not result in a breakthrough, even as Trump described it as “productive,” while Putin proposed another meeting in Moscow.

The White House had played down the talks — initially seen as an attempt at securing a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine — with spokesperson Karoline Leavitt calling the summit, “a listening exercise for the president.”

Following the Friday meeting Trump said, “There’s no deal until there’s a deal.”

Highlights of Putin statement after summit with Trump

ANCHORAGE, Alaska (Reuters) -Following are key quotes from Russian President Vladimir Putin's statement after meeting U.S. President Donald Trump in Alaska on Friday. Translation by Reuters.

ON RUSSIA-U.S. TIES

As is known, Russian-American summits have not been held for more than four years. This is a long time. The past period was very difficult for bilateral relations. And, let's be honest, they have slid to the lowest point since the Cold War. And this is not good for our countries, or the world as a whole. Obviously, sooner or later, it was necessary to correct the situation, to move from confrontation to dialogue. And in this regard, a personal meeting of the heads of the two states was really overdue...

Hillary just revealed the Dems/MSM plan to counter the Trump/Putin peace deal.

Hillary said Trump should get the Nobel Peace Prize… UNDER THE STIPULATION THAT UKRAINE DO NOT HAVE TO CONCEDE TERRITORY.

This will not happen. Ukraine WILL be forced to give up ground, Trump already told us that, and Putin has made it clear since the beginning he will not withdraw his troops unless Ukraine surrenders the Eastern Oblasts and ethnic Russian territory, and he has no reason to withdraw, as Putin has the upper hand on the battlefield, and Ukraine has no capability to retake land by force, as seen with the catastrophic failure of the highly-advertised “counter offensive”.

Hillary is prepping their counter-narrative. The Dems/MSM are going to say Trump is weak and bowing to Putin because Ukraine will have to end up conceding territory. That’s their play. They are going to claim he is compromised by Putin and giving up ground is “validating Putin’s aggression”.

You’ll notice Hillary also went out of her way to slip in her propaganda that Putin is an adversary who wants to destroy the western world and he is the “aggressor”. She left out the whole part about the Obama State Dept taking control of Ukraine in 2014, Maidan coup, Nuland/Pyatt, colour revolution, etc.

Hillary is not giving Trump flowers here. She is still trying to deceive. She is laying the groundwork for the next bullshit narrative.

Obama’s Disgraced CIA Director John Brennan Follows Clinton’s Playbook — Calls for Trump to Get Nobel Peace Prize

by Jim Hᴏft Aug. 16, 2025

First, Hillary Clinton, the twice-failed presidential candidate who never got over her humiliating loss to Donald Trump, is suddenly praising Trump as a peacemaker and openly admitting she’d nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize if he can end the bloody war in Ukraine without ceding land to Russia.

And now, shockingly, Obama’s disgraced former CIA Director John Brennan, the same deep state operative who pushed the Russia Collusion Hoax to undermine Trump’s presidency, is following Clinton’s lead, saying he too would support Trump for the Nobel if he pulls it off.

“Honestly, if he could bring about the end to this terrible war, if he could end it without putting Ukraine in a position where it had to concede its territory to the aggressor, could really stand up to Putin — something we haven’t seen, but maybe this is the opportunity — if President Trump were the architect of that, I’d nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize,” Clinton told host Jessica Tarlov.

She emphasized her stance, adding, “Because my goal here is to not allow capitulation to Putin.”

Russian cruise missiles hit US company in massive Ukraine strike amid Trump’s peace push

In one of the largest overnight strikes since the war began, Russia unleashed some 614 drones, ballistic and cruise missiles across Ukraine, killing one, injuring dozens and destroying an American-owned electronics company less than an hour from two NATO borders, officials confirmed Thursday morning.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenksyy said the strike on the private U.S. company, which involved "several" cruise missiles, was "very telling" following President Donald Trump’s attempts to force Moscow to end its invasion.

Trump in talks to deploy private army to Ukraine

American private military firms could be deployed to Ukraine as part of a long-term peace plan.

Donald Trump is in talks with European allies about allowing armed contractors to help build fortifications to protect American interests in the country.

The plan is being devised as a workaround after the US president promised that American troops would not be stationed in Ukraine.
