Historic Ukrainian barrage triggers fierce backlash from Russian military bloggers — ISW

ISW analysts noted that while the pro-war blogging community erupted with demands for enhanced air defense networks and severe retaliatory strikes, official Kremlin representatives opted for a highly restrained response. Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova criticized the Ukrainian strikes for their alleged impact on civilian populations, completely omitting any mention of several successful Ukrainian hits on Russian defense-industrial plants and critical oil infrastructure facilities.

Similarly, Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, attempted to pacify domestic commentators who were clamoring for a nuclear response to the capital's breach. Answering a question from a Kremlin state propagandist regarding whether Russia might deploy "devastating bombs" against Ukraine, Peskov deflected, stating that "a nuclear state cannot be threatened, and its very existence cannot be put at risk."

Ukraine war live: Russia hit ship owned by ally China, says Zelensky

Russia has attacked a Chinese ship headed for a Ukrainian port, Volodymyr Zelensky has said, a move which could anger Beijing one day before a summit between Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping.

The Russian drone struck the KSL DEYANG vessel flying under Marshall Islands flag off the coast of Ukraine early on Monday, a source earlier told Reuters news agency.

The vessel was did not contain cargo and was bound for Ukraine's Pivdennyi port in the Odesa region where it was to load iron ore concentrate. Although a fire was sparked, the vessel was not seriously damaged and no one was injured.

What will it take for Putin to end the war?

Over the weekend, Kyiv sent a barrage of over 500 drones to Moscow and its environs. Despite new laws restricting the posting of information on drone attacks, residents of Khimki, Mytishchi and Krasnogorsk flooded social media with footage of plumes of smoke rising and drones manoeuvring in the skies over the capital’s suburbs. The attacks – which killed three civilians and left dozens injured – were the first sustained Ukrainian attack on Moscow since the beginning of the war.

Teenagers...

Teenage gunmen open fire on San Diego mosque, killing 3 men and then themselves

SAN DIEGO (AP) — Two teenage shooters opened fire at a San Diego mosque on Monday and killed three men before killing themselves a few blocks away, police said.

The attack at the Islamic Center of San Diego is being investigated as a hate crime, San Diego Police Chief Scott Wahl said at a news conference at a neighborhood park across from the mosque.

He said the “circumstances that led up to this” would come out in the days ahead.

Wahl said later that officers had been talking to one of the teenagers’ mothers earlier in the day after she had contacted police around 9:40 a.m. to say her son was missing along with multiple weapons and her vehicle.

“She was beginning to develop a bigger picture as to what she was dealing with and was conveying that to our folks, and we were trying to put that together and get out in front of this as quickly as we could,” Wahl said.

They could sign a peace deal and they would still be dealing with attacks by Ukraine. Once Putin leaves office the hard liners in Moscow will unleash holy hell on the pedos.

Ukraine says drones hit Russian refinery as long-range strikes escalate

Ukrainian drones smashed into another Russian refinery overnight, starting a fire that produced huge clouds of black smoke, President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Thursday, in what appeared to be the latest long-range attack on Moscow’s vital oil industry.

The drones targeted the Syzran oil refinery, located more than 800 kilometres (500 miles) inside Russia, Mr Zelensky said on social media, where he posted a video of the aftermath.

It was not possible to verify the video or independently confirm the attack.

The whole Ukrainian leadership/governmental structure is pure evil. Look at their leader - a lowbrow entertainer of dubious sexuality, whose whole act was shock value.

His government is not going to abide by negotiations. They have to be vanquished - beaten, to where they can do nothing, and then removed. Consequences, for Treason - which is what the whole Ukrainian uprising and attack WAS, remember they were part of the post-USSR Russian Federation. Given autonomy within the federation - but, however it happened, while Putin rid other regions of the Oligarch curse, Ukraine continued it and solicited Western dark money, for Western research labs to weaponize diseases. WHILE allowing child pornographers that had left Russia (1990s Russia was the largest vendor of child porn on the globe) to continue in Ukraine.

This can only end with obliteration. Anything short will mean the next US Dumbo admin will rearm and restart. Because OUR leadership class is just as corrupt as Ukraine's...including the sexual deviancy.

Putin has wasted a lot of Russia's wealth - more than they can afford - by playing fcuk-fcuk with Vlod. Whoever replaces him, is almost-certainly gonna have an attitude.

Lukashenka offers to meet Zelenskyy as Ukraine warns of Russia's new offensive through Belarus

Belarusian President Aliaksandr Lukashenka offered to meet his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelenskyy anywhere — in Ukraine or Belarus — as Kyiv warned that Russia was preparing a new offensive through Belarusian territory toward the capital and the Chernihiv region.

"If (Zelenskyy) wants to discuss something, seek advice, or anything else, please do. We are open to it," Lukashenka said on Friday, according to the state-controlled media outlets.

”I am ready to meet with him anywhere — in Ukraine, in Belarus — and discuss the problems of Belarusian-Ukrainian relations.”

Lukashenka also denied any plans to involve his country in the war — unless "aggression is committed against (Belarusian) territory"

Anti-Putin movement spearheaded by Russian defector vows to overthrow the dictator by force

An underground resistance movement spearheaded by a Russian defector has emerged from the shadows, calling for the violent overthrow of Vladimir Putin.

The group, known as Black Spark, claims it is building a clandestine anti-regime network inside Russia made up of 'middle-class' professionals, business figures, anti-war activists and fighters with combat experience.

Now, its public representative has been revealed as Igor Volobuev, a Kremlin-linked ex-banker who defected to Ukraine after Putin's invasion and took up arms against Russia.

Volobuev said 'shifts' were underway inside Russia and claimed members of Putin's elite had lost faith in the Kremlin leader.

U.S. citizens should leave Kyiv ahead of ‘systematic’ strikes on Ukrainian
CNBC

Russia said on Tuesday its government has warned U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio to evacuate diplomats and American citizens from Kyiv, as Moscow plots fresh strikes on the Ukrainian capital.

Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov “officially informed” Washington that Russia would be launching “systematic and consistent strikes” against Ukrainian military facilities and what Moscow called “decision-making centers,” in a call with Rubio on Monday, according to the Russian government.

Russia has no chance of winning the Ukraine war

Does anyone still remember way back when the prospect of a missile or other aerodynamic weapon system launched from Ukraine hitting a target on actual Russian territory was a terrifying prospect? This would result in horrific “E” word coming to pass –escalation of the conflict into a global war – those of us who were calling for Ukraine to receive long-range weapons from the US, we were told repetitively.

This was the hallmark of Joe Biden’s presidency, who, as The Atlantic described it, ensured that the war would continue indefinitely as he “thought of the conflict as a crisis to be managed, not a war to be won.”

His decision to finally permit strikes with shorter-range US systems like the HIMARS rocket artillery system came only after 33 months of the war. During this almost three-year period, Russia consistently launched long-range missile and drone attacks almost anywhere in Ukraine the Kremlin wanted, and Moscow also increasingly began using Iranian- and North Korean-made weapons to do so.

Putin is terrified he could be assassinated over Ukraine war and will now do anything to stop it

Reports today state that Russian President Vladimir Putin will close Moscow and most of the airspace of European Russia to all private planes and helicopters. The closure comes from his fear of both Ukraine's long-range drone strikes and increasing rumors of possible assassination plots against him internally.

The boundaries of this restricted area extend over most of central Russia. It begins at the border with Belarus in the west, extends north to the St. Petersburg flight zone, runs east towards the Urals, and then, in the south, joins another already restricted no-fly area near the conflict zone. Flights in that southern area have already been banned for the past four years.

Russia launches fresh strikes on Ukraine, Kyiv hits refinery hub

Russian forces launched a new series of air strikes on Ukraine on Sunday night, attacking its territory with more than 200 attack and decoy drones. Most of them were shot down, the AFU Air Force said (source in Russian), but 14 drones were recorded hitting 11 locations.

"According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, the air defence intercepted 212 enemy UAVs of Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas and other types of drones in the north and east of the country," the agency said.

According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (source in Russian), a drone of Russian forces struck a company site in Chernihiv region in the north of the country. A 58-year-old man died there. As a result of the strike, a fire broke out in the car park and 7 lorries were destroyed by fire.
