  • Nestlé is assessing its options after Russia placed the Swiss food giant’s local assets under temporary external administration.
  • The move could pave the way for Kremlin-friendly investors to take control of Nestlé’s Russian business, alongside assets linked to Auchan and Leroy Merlin.

Trump Wants Putin to End the War. He May Offer Russia Business Deals First.

A new sanctions bill is meant to pressure President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia to end the war in Ukraine. But President Trump is doubling down on a different approach: offering enticements to Russia.

When President Trump’s envoys sat down with Vladimir V. Putin at the Kremlin this month, the Russian leader exuded confidence.
Within months, he said, Russian troops would finally capture Ukraine’s entire Donbas region. And Russia was poised to pummel Ukraine’s electricity grid, setting the stage for a miserable winter.

Then one of the envoys, Jared Kushner, tried to push back. With all due respect, you told us exactly that a year ago, Mr. Kushner said to the Russian president. What are the chances we come back here in another year and you are again saying the same thing? Maybe we don’t lose a year?

Something to consider...

How do you FORCE the EU and NATO to stop funding Zelensky and the war in Ukraine?

How do you FORCE the grifter Zelensky to come to the peace table?

Make the EU and NATO choose between funding the Ukraine war, or once again, purchasing oil from Russia.

Step way back.

Look at the bigger picture.

The EU and NATO, have been doing everything they can to extend the Ukraine war and push the fear that Russia is a real threat.

Trump pointed out their “hypocrisy” from the beginning.

Do you remember?

Trump pointed out that these EU and NATO countries constantly demonize Russia as a mortal enemy, while at the same time buying oil from them for the EU economy.
The EU was completely dependent on Russian oil and Trump pointed out their “hypocrisy.”

Then what did Trump do?

He put the financial squeeze on them by FORCING them to increase their own defense spending, instead of the U.S. subsidizing the entire EU national defense.
They capitulated.
More money on defense, less for energy.
Then Ukraine blew up the Russian pipeline that supplied Europe. Didn’t matter. The EU kept supporting Zelensky and demonizing Russia.

The EU shifted and began getting a lot of their oil from the Middle East after their hypocrisy was exposed.
But look what just happened, as “winter” approaches.

“Saudi Arabia has informed at least two oil refining customers in Europe that they will not receive crude oil allocations in October, as the war in the Middle East hits global energy markets.
European refineries buy Saudi Arabian crude under term contracts meant to ensure a standard monthly supply, but energy companies can cancel those shipments under extraordinary circumstances, known as force majeure.
Earlier this month, Qatar extended its force majeure for liquefied natural gas shipments to early November because of the maritime blockade of the Strait of Hormuz.”

“force majeure.”

Saudi Arabia announced that they are stopping shipments to the EU because of the war with Yemen.

But did you catch the other important data point?

Qatar has also stopped its natural gas shipments to Europe.

Coincidence?

Can you see who is getting financially squeezed?

Winter is approaching and the people of Europe have a history of dealing very harshly with “elitist rulers” who live a life of luxury while the people suffer.

We are ALREADY seeing the people in Europe rising up in anger over immigration. Wait till they don’t have heat and energy in winter time.

Can you see who is going to have to come to Trump, begging for oil and natural gas this “winter?”

Guess what one of the first things Trump will demand from the EU and NATO?

The END to funding Zelensky’s European grift WAR.

It’s coming.

All coordinated and planned.

The CENTER of the financial world, used to be located in Europe and has been for many generations.

Guess where the center of the financial world is located now?

Mar A Lago.

And the elites in Europe are going to be kissing Trump’s ring soon.

That moment when Victoria Nuland, in 2016, was bragging to the US Congress about how thoroughly Washington had taken over Ukraine after the 2014 coup.

She spelled it all out without shame:

🔴US operatives embedded in a dozen Ukrainian ministries.

🔴American-trained cops patrolling 18 cities.

🔴The US Treasury gutting 60 Ukrainian banks while sparing depositors to keep people quiet.

🔴Hundreds of millions of dollars funneled into molding Ukraine’s military.

Let's be real, this wasn’t "assistance", it was a takeover dressed up as aid.

"Unprovoked"
😂😂😂

Circulating on X this morning (maybe BS, maybe not):

I don't think Ukraine is too happy with this.

I don't really get it but I do understand it. T got us into a war in the middle east that screwed the economy and raised oil prices world wide. We have elections around the corner and he's hoping the deal will bring down diesel prices. I doubt that will happen.

He also doesn't care too much for Zelensky but admires Putin. Go figure :dontknow:

Zelensky hits Russian oil hub after he attacked Trump's diesel deal with Putin as weak

A furious Volodymyr Zelensky hit a key Russian oil hub hours after Donald Trump blindsided him by striking a major diesel deal with Vladimir Putin.

And in the immediate aftermath of the Trump-Putin call, the Russian dictator staged a new strike on sleeping Ukrainian civilians in Zaporizhzhia killing at least three children, all girls, among seven dead, with ten wounded and '16 missing'.

It brings the total to almost 90 civilians killed by Russia in three days.

A heartbroken woman, Natalia, said: 'When I ran to my mother, she was still gasping for air.

'She had fallen face down, and her entire face was shattered. I couldn't reach her. There was debris everywhere.'

That short little phaggot, a gay comic who plays piano with his dick is a better leader than Putin?
You prolly think AOC is prime political ex-bartender who would be a good replacement for Trump.
If our last president wouldn't have laundered so much cash thru Ukraine that conflict wouldn't have expanded like it did.
The Iranian state needs to be prevented from controlling the entire oil output of the middle east. You think oil prices are high now, where do think they would be if iran had total control over there in the Persian Gulf?

lol Playing piano with his dick

You prolly think AOC is prime political ex-bartender who would be a good replacement for Trump.

Probably. I don't think she's any where near as dangerous as T.

On a different note, I wouldn't mind going to a bar where she was a celebrity bartender, wearing short shorts and a halter top and tending bar. Probably draw a big crowd and be a lotta fun.

Ya gotta admit........she's a hot chick.

Pryor to us attacking Iran we had an agreement with Iran and the SoH was open and shipping was flowing free. And for forty years Netty was trying to get us to attack them. Only prez who went along with him was T. No clue why that was but the Epstein files come to mind. And now look at what has happened to a major part of the world's supply chain, and the price of oil through out the world.

I don't like Iran one bit, but T should have listened to his advisers, our military & civilian intelligence.

1. The moment Donald Trump revealed he knew the DNC server was in Ukraine, the US Shadow Government franchise instantly cobbled together a hoax to impeach him. What is it called when you KNOWINGLY impeach a President based on a hoax and attempt to remove him from office at a Senate trial?

TREASON.

2. The U.S. Shadow Government franchise launched a Plandemic [no, I didn't misspell anything] to help them wreck the economy, lock the country down, aid them in rigging/stealing a Presidential election, and a byproduct of that operation was the deaths over 1 million Americans.

TREASON.

3. The U.S. Shadow Government franchise has been involved in criminal enterprises involving the deliberate theft and illegal laundering of HUNDREDS OF BILLIONS of taxpayer dollars per year for multiple decades. Some of these criminal enterprises involved working with foreign entities in the illegal drug/human trafficking international networks, specifically illegal drugs being smuggled into the country, which killed more than 1.3 million Americans since just the year 2000. And the importation of terrorist cells into the country to facilitate drug/human trafficking targeting the native US citizen population.

TREASON.

4. The use of official government offices, powers, channels and resources to carry out coups, wars, assassinations and psychological operations targeting native populations both abroad and increasingly here at home. When the US Shadow Government franchise turns its attacks on US citizens in this manner, and subjects US citizens to coups, wars, assassinations and psychological operations, is that not making war on your citizenry, and therefore, your own country? What is the word for that?

TREASON.

When the truth comes out, all of Washington will fall.

And the evidence of what this U.S. Shadow Government franchise was doing to the rest of us will lead to a significant number of its members being convicted at military tribunals for making WAR on their own country and engaging in acts of sedition too numerous to count.

And they will then be stood up against a wall and SHOT by U.S. military firing squad.

Some of them have ALREADY been shot.

I don't think Ukraine is too happy with this.

GOP lawmakers reject US.-Russia diesel deal, Trump’s Zelensky comments

Several Republicans voiced objections to the Trump administration Russian diesel deal and President Trump's suggestion that Ukraine needed a new leader.

When asked about the deal, Sen. John Kennedy (R-La.) said on Friday he supported the president’s decision but he doesn’t “support his decision to import it from Putin. Vladimir Putin is a butcher. He's a butcher of his own people. And he's a butcher of the good people of Ukraine.”

“He [Putin] will never be our friend. So the president is doing everything he can to get diesel prices down. But you know what's going to bring diesel prices down? An end to the war in Iran,” he continued.

Trump’s attack on Zelensky is just what Putin wants

Donald Trump’s decision to call for Volodymyr Zelensky to be removed from office is as shameful as it is absurd.

Speaking at the White House on Saturday, the US president hit out at Mr Zelenksy, declaring that the Ukrainians should “get a new leader who can make a deal because he could have made many deals and for some reason he never does”.

Mary Dejevsky: Silencing of dissent over Ukraine war | Tom Switzer
Mary Dejevsky spent decades at the heart of British journalism, including many years as a columnist for The Independent. But in June she stepped down from her weekly column, in part because she had become increasingly frustrated by the shrinking space for dissenting views on Russia and Ukraine in Britain’s mainstream media.

On this episode of Switzerland, she tells Tom Switzer why she believes it has become extraordinarily difficult for British journalists to question the prevailing narrative about the war — and what happened when she suggested the conflict might be more complicated than the conventional wisdom allowed. She says she lost a significant part of her freelance income as a result, while also finding herself in the peculiar position in which writing outside the mainstream could itself be used as evidence that her views were beyond the bounds of respectable debate.

Why has Britain become less tolerant of dissent on Russia and Ukraine than other Western democracies? Is there still greater pluralism in the United States? And what does her experience tell us about the state of journalism, free expression and intellectual debate in Britain?

Mary Dejevsky is a former columnist with The Guardian and The Independent and a former foreign correspondent in Moscow, Paris and Washington.
