Loomer condemns 'crisis' in Trump-world after Gabbard 'guru' report

Laura Loomer, an informal adviser to President Donald Trump, has blasted his administration for a “lack of vetting” following a damning report alleging that Tulsi Gabbard was being advised for years by the reclusive guru of a spiritual movement while in Congress.

Gabbard served her final day as Trump’s Director of National Intelligence on Thursday, two days before The Washington Post expose was published, to spend more time with her husband, who has been diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer.

Todd Blanche hit with state bar complaint backed by 101 former judges

Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche’s principal focus in recent weeks has been lining up support on Capitol Hill ahead of his upcoming Senate confirmation hearings, with a specific focus on winning over GOP skeptics. But Donald Trump’s controversial former defense attorney has more troubles than lining up 51 votes.

As this week got underway, Democracy Defenders Fund, Lawyers Defending American Democracy and a group of 101 former federal and state judges filed a complaint against Blanche with the New York State Bar, which included a formal request for an ethics investigation.

Trump doesn’t own the government – even though he acts as if Congress is not his equal in constitutional power and authority

In a recent exchange with reporters about the newly brokered Iran agreement, President Donald Trump was asked whether he planned to submit the deal to Congress.

“I never thought about sending – never even thought about it, but I will,” Trump said. “I will send it to Congress. I like the idea.”

The most revealing phrase in the president’s statement was not “I will send it.” It was “I never thought about it.”

Top Army Gen. Donahue exits amid Pete Hegseth military shake-up

General Christopher Donahue, the commander of U.S. Army forces in Europe and Africa, is unexpectedly stepping down after only 18 months, the Army confirmed late Tuesday.

Donahue, famously the last American soldier to depart Afghanistan in 2021, will relinquish his command on July 2. His departure marks the latest in a series of nearly two dozen top military leaders who have either retired or left their positions early under Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who advocates for "less generals, more GIs" in an effort to streamline the military's senior ranks.

In other words, take Executive powers away from the Executive.

Putting prosecution - like pardons - in the hands of a branch OTHER than CONgress, is not accidental. It's part of the institutional checks and balances.

That Leftists cannot understand that, shows about their mental wattage.

Republican spills on his blowup with Trump

WASHINGTON — White House aides tend to shield President Donald Trump from opinions that diverge from his own worldview, but this afternoon, he got chewed out by one of his fellow Republicans at the U.S. Capitol.

After four Senate Republicans bucked the president last night and voted to limit his ability to wage war against Iran without congressional approval, the president aired his frustration with members of his own party at today’s Senate Republican Party lunch at the Capitol.

Trump's astounding remark to Netanyahu during expletive-laden shouting match over Hamas peace deal

Donald Trump told Israeli Prime Minister 'all the Jews are sick of you' during a shouting match regarding peace in the Middle East, according to a new book about the President's second term.

Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan's 'Regime Change' details Trump's attempt to broker a Gaza peace deal between Israel and Hamas in September of 2025.

The President was on the call with Netanyahu, son in law Jared Kushner and envoy Steve Witkoff when they became frustrated with the prime minister following an Israeli strike on Qatar. That's when Trump unleashed, the book claims.

If you're connected to a politically-powerful goonion, you get this kind of help.

If you were a lifetime employee of American Widget, and they went bust, and your pension went bye-bye...you will just have to be satisfied with the two-cents-on-the-dollar that the PBGB offers. No enhancement for you!

One moar old, shriveled Gynocratic Communist playing the Party-Labels Game.

She's as corrupt as any of them. And, what are her core principles? Dave Collum remembers, back before she entered politics, as one more obscure professorette, she was talking with Collum on Twitter - and was essentially defending free markets.

She changed stances because her core belief is MONEYYYYY.....

Which amazes me, because debasement of the currency is a key tenet of the Left.

America's New Dual Legal System

Jun 25, 2026
American judges are now on the front line of a fight between the legitimate legal system essentially run by judges and a new 'privilege' system run by politicians. For fascism to take hold, the legal system must be brought under direct political control. The American Department of Justice is now under political control and only judges stand in the way of a complete political take over of the American System of Justice. There will be no justice in the US if that happens.

Could a Pa. Supreme Court decision on skill games help fund SEPTA?

More funding for SEPTA and dozens of financially strained mass transit systems across Pennsylvania has been on the back burner in this year’s budget debate, but it may get some more attention now.

The Pennsylvania Supreme Court ruled June 15 that tens of thousands of the so-called skill games in bars and convenience stores are in fact slot machines — and illegal unless licensed, regulated, and taxed like casino-based slots.

They just want the tax money. Probably pocket it if they get it.
Exactly.

For years, maybe to this day, the Pennsylvania Lottery advertised their proceeds as targeted for programs for senior citizens.

Are they better off in the Keystroke State than anywhere else?

Good god. Money is FUNGIBLE. You move money from the lottery commission to old-people giveaways, and that just frees up money that WAS going there, to OTHER black holes!

(oops, sorry for the ray-sissm....NOT!)

Are people this stupid, or are they mind-twisted to where this Let's-Pretend scheisse seems normal and healthy?

AND...while AT it, maybe someone should explore the economics of (m)ass transit.

I did the workup 24 years ago, when the CAFE standards were first proposed to be made choking, with an eye towards forcing the proles onto buses. The economics...of a bus, its purchase price at the time, its fuel economy - about four miles a gallon in city service - and the driver's wages and other costs, with an average-per-run passenger load of 15 people...it would be better for transit agencies to give, out of their UMTA funds, a good used car to people who would otherwise buy monthly passes. Because 15 Toyota Corollas would get the same job done on the same fuel without a pension liability.

Off-topic, sorry...but I'm so bilious of this Social Engineering with OPM...YOUR money, and MINE.
